Ryu and Ken were not originally supposed to be in the game. They appeared in the final version mainly due to fan backlash, while Akuma and Chun-Li returned in the later editions described above.

lol what everyone's saying is so true dudley's new ssf4 voice is garbage compared to his sf3 voice man i still haven't got sf3 3rd strike or 2nd impact coz for uk it's still only on flippin dreamcast who the hell wants to play a sf game on dreamcast?wow man i love especially dudley's phrase's such as one two three gutter trash down for the count you have no dignity love dudley's voice from sf3 series the best,gill would be a close 2nd as runnerup.

Street Fighter III > Street Fighter IV, since Street Fighter IV would've been a better title if it weren't for how bad the character models appeared, or the incredibly sappy, but dramatic Ultra Combos.
