 2 Shout Outs!
Quite a voice cast again for a big project by Bioware...

which like the game itself and unlike the other games, most of the acting (besides a couple of actors) was rather underwhelming this time around.

@RetroPokeFan And looking back on this game the voice acting is really really poor.

Most of the characters sound lifeless and robotic and others are just.... god awful.

The only real highlights to me are Clancy Brown, Ray Chase, Nicholas Boulton and possibly Cindy Robinson.

Everyone else is unfortunately let down by uneven voice directing and incredibly cringeworthy lines.

 2 Shout Outs!

Funny joke aside, I don't blame the actors other than the people making the game. This entire scene was. ...Very robotic.

Male Ryder kinda sounded like either Nolan North or Troy Baker.

@The Doctor Definitely not Troy and I don't think it's Nolan either. He has a few moments of huskiness/breathiness that are similar to Nolan, but the overall tone of his voice is much lower, he's missing Nolan's slightly-grizzled texture, and his accent is different.

@Eddie Frangos It's PS4/XB1/PC only. As technology improves developers have to move on from those old consoles eventually.

According to Bioware, this game won't give Mass Effect 3 a "canon-ending" or anything like that. It's going to be interesting to see how they will pull it off, since no matter how far from the Milky Way Galaxy the story takes place in, at least one of the endings would logically still have visible effects on it. Not to mention all the small choices that would affect the way this universe works.

In the end, as long as the game is good, this is not a complete dealbreaker. I just can't help, but to wonder stuff like this.

@The Doctor That is because of the way it ended, it was too open ended to have a "canon-ending." You could control all artificial life. You could destroy it. You could merge it into one type of life.

Supposedly they will allow your previous saves to effect some things in Andromeda, but to what extent I don't know. But if this takes place after the trilogy, unless the ship was already en route and out of the range of the relays, the ending should have massive repercussions on the new game.
