Even though the show was kinda meh plot-wise, I really loved this cast.

 4 Shout Outs!
So, I saw a bit of this show on a plane (we landed before it could finish). It was an episode where Allura, Coran, and Larmina went to some planet, and they got trapped by Wade because he made a deal with some alien dudes. I don't know a whole lot about Voltron, but here are my thoughts:

-It was nice to hear Ocean voice actors, it's a refreshing change-up considering how LA talent is used almost exclusively nowadays.
-The animation was mostly serviceable. Nothing special but it wasn't awful. However, I didn't like the CGI for the mechs; it stood out a lot and looked very low-budget.
-The rap theme song made me cringe. Reminds me of the Transformers G2 commercials, but lacking the "enjoyably bad" quality.
-The show could be a little fresher. I thought it seemed similar to all the other kids' action shows on the market. Not as enjoyable as Transformers Prime which had more mature and deeper stories.
-"I hate it when I'm right." "...No you don't." That line made me chuckle.

Overall, it seemed pretty average. Not the best or the worst cartoon out there, but I don't think it holds its own compared to the other 80s reboots.

@NCZ You are completely right. We've seen it all before in Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Storm Hawks and Legion of Super Heroes.
