This beats the politically correct Mickey & Friends
Sure several re-imaginings are awful but the show is semi-good

I saw a couple of episodes of this when it first came around. I didn't like them but I wasn't willing to judge the show based on that. I saw another episode of this today and I don't think I will ever want to watch this again.

I don't really like this show. But the cgi Road Runner shorts are ok.

@coolgeek176 I saw a newer episode today and I must say this is still horribly awful. None of the jokes worked for me. There was no slapstick. I think Jeff Bergman does an unconvincing Daffy. Plus Lola was really annoying.

@coolgeek176 Weird back in the early 90"s Jeff did a spot on Bugs & Daffy, but now not so much, what happened?

@RNB Oh, please. The Looney Tunes passed their prime waaaaay earlier than that :/

This concerns everyone. I just gave my opinion. I'm trying to be a nice guy about the negative feedback i'm getting. Just take it or leave it. You don't have to have the same opinion i do. If you like the show, fine. If you don't, fine.

This show sucks. HORRIBLY. Everything is just wrong. The typical stuff the Looney Tunes did worked for nearly 70 years. Why did they need to change it?

@RNB Because they know they can't live up to what Jones, Clampett, McKimson, etc. could do in the past, so they just did the next best thing they could come up with and made it a sitcom. That's my theory, anyway.

@CatsTuxedo Yeah. I hate it. It has become a sitcom/reality tv. It's just hard to watch.

@RNB I love this show. Maybe it's because I never liked the original LT cartoons (not big fan of slapstick), but I think that sitcom setting works and there are many memorable jokes. Oh and also Lola. Lola always cracks me up.

@Punisher Lola has turned into a dumb blond that Bugs doesn't want to be around. When she first appeared in Space Jam, Bugs was all over her.
Replysaid at 7:58 PM on Fri Oct 19 2012
@CatsTuxedo Well i just don't like it. It's has it's moments, but it's just not the same.
Replysaid at 2:35 PM on Wed Oct 24 2012
@RNB And that was Lola's only character trait in Space Jam, Bugs was all over her. Maybe she is dumb blond in this, but at least she is fun to watch.
Replysaid at 3:44 PM on Wed Oct 24 2012
@Avenger I wouldn't even call her dumb, she's more spacey and eccentric. But she is a lot of fun in this show.
Replysaid at 6:45 PM on Wed Oct 24 2012
@RNB You're allowed to like both the classic shorts and this show. Also Space Jam isn't a classic, it came out in 1996, that's still fairly recent in terms of Warner Bros materials.

@RNB We do. The thing is we're not being rigid, stubborn whiners about it. If you so insistent on locking yourself in the past and keeping yourself safe from change and new things, there's plenty of collector's DVDs out there to hold you over. Nobody's going to take those away from you, so stop complaining about things that you have the choice of not subjecting yourself to.

@CatsTuxedo At the risk of being banned again, I will keep mouth shut to that comment.

@RNB Let's put this way. Time have canged this isn't the 40's and 50's and while they co could pull it of in the 90's and 2000's when they went on hiatus for five years Warner Bros. needed a way to reintroduce them and what better way than to change their antics to make them kid friendly so this generation can watch both the classics and the new version and grow up with them like all the past generations did. Even in the 80's and 90's the classics were censored. Yes some were racist but some were too violent for children as back in the 40's and 50's they weren't aimed at children as opposed to now. The days of dynamite exploding, anvil dropping, grand piano falling, and guns being aimed at blank range and exploding in Daffy's face are gone. Wile they're classic time to move on. You can either accept and enjoy the fact that they're back or go cry in a corner. A good 23 like this show so that makes it 23 to 1.

@CatsTuxedo In reply to your original comment. There were shorts(not referring to the Flash ones) released after Back In Action that were pretty close to the classics some were violent(Sylvester and Sweety) while others were just good(Bugs and Daffy) and they were going to air but since Back In Action they didn't air on tv. Or for a better explanation see my comment to the original poster.

@CatsTuxedo Also the staff might have changed since back in 2003.
Replysaid at 3:22 PM on Tue Oct 30 2012
@RNB See my other 2 comments but the creative staff at Warner Bros. probably changed since the early 2000's.

@pete Again at the risk of being banned from this site again, I'm keeping my mouth shut.
Replysaid at 10:25 PM on Tue Oct 30 2012
@RNB Out of curiosity what were you banned for saying in the first place?
Replysaid at 11:49 PM on Tue Oct 30 2012
@pete For being disrespectful and insulting towards an administrator.
Replysaid at 11:54 PM on Tue Oct 30 2012
@NCZ If that's he case he should just control his language and there should be no problem.
Replysaid at 11:58 PM on Tue Oct 30 2012
@pete Exactly. There's a difference between being blunt and being just plain rude.
Replysaid at 12:06 AM on Wed Oct 31 2012
@NCZ LIke back when I joined I never yelled at you for correcting my rather stupid mistakes(Still get a chuckle out of them). I don't make as many now. He's new and all members probably screw up and leave mixed impressions before getting the hang of site as I did.
Replysaid at 4:40 PM on Wed Oct 31 2012
@NCZ I apologized to OptimusSolo already and we're cool now. I spoke before i thought. If i ever spoke out of terms to you, I also apologize.

I realize this is pretty much blasphemy, but I like this show a LOT more than the old Looney Tunes stuff. Not that I don't like the old stuff, but I find it's more of a semi-fond memory for me, whereas this show, I actively watch when I can.

This show is pretty hit and miss, but when they hit, they hit really good! When the jokes in this show work, they get some real good laugh out loud moments. This is a return to Looney Tunes comedy, something that has been severely lacking since WB released the completely overrated, overblown Space Jam nonsense. Definitely give it a look at. Lola Bunny in this show is a hilarious riot, and has quickly become my favorite character.
