 1 Shout Out!
This show belongs in the top 3 of Greatest Animated Series of All Time. The animation improved drastically as time went by. What truly made the show was 3 things:

1. The actors. Alan Reed, Jean Vander Pyl, Bea Benaderet, Mel Blanc and John Stephenson played off each other so well. They added so much warmth, humanity to the characters and gave them bodies and souls. You wanted to be one of them. I know I did.
When they were joined by their colleagues Don Messick, Daws Butler, Verna Felton and Howard Morris, the chemistry quadrupled. However, when they took Benaderet out of the equation the show kind of went downhill.

2. The writers. The situations they gave us were terrific and the quotes were so great, that you wanted to play the episodes in your head again and again (preferably, when there is nothing good on TV).

3. It was probably the first animated show which had actual story development - Pebbles, Bamm-Bamm, Hoppy, The Great Gazoo (The last may have been unnecessary).

Barney: No, Fred! Why don't you just tell Wilma the truth.

Fred: What is this obsession you've got with telling truths. You must have been weaned with sodium thiopental.

Yeah, currently there are about 6 of us but only a couple of us add show content. Myself, I only focus on 80s and classic cartoons. Whats up?
