 2 Shout Outs!
This show is to clever for it's own good. Last week it managed to take on SJW, and it was honestly amazing. Also the amount of dirty jokes it gets away with making is crazy.

@Soul-dragon yeh gumball has been clever with its writing in recent years, heck they even made fun of its chinese counterpart in a great way and the final fantasy episode. if youre an ff episode u will love how they spoof the genre

also the voice cast is unique as its a mix of british and american voice actors

I love the show but that episode was dumb at worst and misguided at best. "Check your privilege" jokes stopped being a meaningful or original form of commentary four years ago. I don't care enough to get too deep into the discourse but I saw the episode and was groaning throughout the entire thing. I'm kinda weary of the show becoming too dependent on the self-aware/referential stuff in general honestly. In small doses it's fine but I zone out when they start trying too hard to be South Park for kids. The show is at its best when it gets to go all-out with the surreal/situational elements. The dreams episode and the Around Elmore one are some of the best.

@NCZ Well, based on this it's doing another self aware episode. It is truly becoming South Park for kids (I can't tell if that's a good or bad thing)

Well, that's not so much self-aware as much as it is... Uh, real-world aware. It does hammer in the South Park comparison a bit though.

I'd need to wait till the whole episode comes out to really have a full judgement. I guess the one thing I'll say is I like how grotesquely they drew him compared to everyone else. The show's strength is how it blends together so many art styles. Obviously here going for a really disturbing caricature fit the persona they were dealing with, needless to say.

I was so hoping for a crossover for Amazing world of gumball and Regular show, doesn't seem impossible conisdering ttg and ppgs, but oh well, they are both still amazing shows separately.

It's actually a really good show. The acting is great, and the combined styles of animation are really damn cool to look at. It's one of CN's best shows.
