Ugh, this show makes me sick. How it has fans (people patient enough to deal with this crap) is beyond me.

@XxDream Really? I thought this was one of their worst dubs. Pokemon and Kirby: Right Back At Ya were probably their best efforts (Yu-Gi-Oh seemed decent enough but I've never seen the Japanese version to compare).

@XxDream Unless you're a die-hard Sonic fan, I'm assuming you haven't seen Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Kirby Right Back At Ya, or F-Zero GP Legend. Heck, there's also the 2003 TMNT series (which 4Kids worked on as well, though it's not anime).

Next to Sonic 06 and Sonic Genesis, I can say that Sonic X is a downfall of the franchise... At least the 4kids dub, anyway. I remember getting pretty stoked for this as a child when I caught it on Fox Box (what Toonzai was at the time around 2002/2003/2004), and yes, you could say I was a fan... But as I grew older, I realized that 4Kids were brainwashing me.
First off, I don't like how some of the characters are a bit dull in comparison to their game portrayals (Shadow's an exception), second, I recommend the Japanese version because even though I'm not a weaboo, Sonic X is one of the anime shows I will prefer in Japanese (next to Blue Dragon), third, the story elements take place in between Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Battle, and Advance 3, but altogether, it got a bit butchered here compared to the games. Fourth and last, other than any of the GUN members, Dr. Robotnik, or The President, were much of any of the other human characters necessary??? They were more foil, in my opinion, if anything...
With that said, Sonic X is both mediocre (Japanese) and downright atrocious (4Kids). Sonic Team did have involvement here, and I wished back then that they put more development and all-around thought into this...
One more thing: Nazo is pretty sick, and I wish he were an actual character in the Sonic Universe, and not just a fanfiction.

I also noticed that around the time the dub came out, the games started to tank (4kids seems to ruin anything they touch). Also, like u said, Japanese Sonic X is not much from an anime fan perspective. Though, from a Sonic fan's POV, Jap. Sonic X is quite good. I liked the opening, endings, insert songs, and music from a few the games. The show's not SatAM, but it's still pretty good.

@PerfectSe7en I only ever liked SatAM and the Sonic OVA movie, despite some thoughts about the both of them. At least the Japanese version (like I said before) of Sonic X was decent to most, but for me, it's not working out. So in all fairness, I can halfway agree with what you said.
Other than that, just to get off topic, how does ANYBODY truly consider Bakugan, Beyblade, or Pokemon anime? I think Bakugan is just a premature ripoff of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon together, and the latter two have gotten significantly worse over the years. I missed things like Cyborg 009, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and even Yu Yu Hakusho... {sigh}

I like this show but in Japanese like when Sonic says S**t and my only dislike of the show was Chris overall. plus the show had watered down portrayal of Sonic Adventure 1 2 and Sonic Battle/Advance 3. The last season I lost all interest though.

Man i loved this show i use to watch it all the time SEGA please make a season 4 based on sonic games like
