Regular Show was my first exposure to the new crop of shows coming out of Cartoon Network - and it's a good sign. I've never been an anime fan, just never clicked with me and I had grown out of a lot of the other shows to begin with anyways. While I'm not entirely sure what put me onto Regular Show - I instantly clicked with it. The voice work, absurd humor and insane mannerisms kept me coming back for more and through my enjoyment of it I was eventually put onto Adventure Time and the suprisingly good new Looney Toons series.
I'll definatly keep an eye out for anything else even glanced at anyone involved with Regular Show due to this, and that's a great accomplishment for a show.

This show is a perfect example of how bad Cartoon Network has gotten in recent years.

@PurpleWarrior13 If that's what you think, then okay, it's your opinion... Personally, there have been many people who actually like this show... And that's not all: those individuals who watched this and praise it (such as myself) also are the ones who have been raging Cartoon Network since the start of 2006 (or maybe 2007). But it's not the network's own fault; it was the Boston Bomb Scare controversy, which followed up into Snyder ruining the network by taking out most of the anime, Toonami, and replacing it with mediocre cartoons (RS gets somewhat of a pass, for me) and live-action programming, which doesn't belong on Cartoon Network in the first place... Idiots.

No way, I adore the Regular Show. I've been hating on Cartoon Network for the cruddy new shows but ever since my sister made me watch it, I grew to LOVE it. The characters are ridiculously funny and the episodes are unique and have hidden morals and such. And with the random jokes in this show, you can tell it's a teenager's show disguised as a kid's show xD
It might look stupid at first but if you give it a chance, you might like it :]

@PurpleWarrior13 If you think Regular Show is bad, you haven't seen what else they have on Cartoon Network...which begs the question, is it still "Cartoon" Network? What up with all the live-action stuff?
This show just looks really bad because of the "kiddy" animation and the boring, unoriginal, uncreative title (then again, at least it isn't as blantantly stupid like Capcom's red midget with a V on his head).
@Ninjaman15 and 13ubbleTea Absolutely; while Regular Show doesn't even begin to compare to the amazing things CN broadcasted at the start of the century, it's still pretty good, especially by its own merits. I can't say it's a favorite of mine, but I quite like it actually.

@pokemastanumba1 Another dig at Viewtiful Joe? ...why? What's the point and how does it relate to anything?
More on-topic, the title is meant to be ironic. The content of the show is far from regular. The official tagline is even: "It's anything but." It's not as though they couldn't think of anything else. The show having the name it does is just for giggles and to catch people off guard.

@NCZ Well, it's a fun little gimmick, and I'm not complaining about that. I just think it's trying too hard to be "cute" and all. Moreover, while random out-of-this-world things do happen, the show is still pretty "regular" for a cartoon.
