The visuals from this Christmas special look like a badly rendered video game cutscene. All the movement is incredibly stiff & jerky. Also I'm really surprised who they got on board for this dumpster fire.

From the history, I'd say a more accurate title would be "Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Scientology".

On this company's official site (accessible through the Web Archive), they say that they literally finished this hour-long movie in only four months.

@CerealBoxHead46 As I recall, they used software that had prefab animations, so all they had to do was make the character model (which, judging by the quality, was probably like designing a Sims character) and assign it an animation. The software was also from 1996, so it was old even then.

@TeridaxXD001 Yeah. It's actually pretty hilarious to go back and look at their old press releases and see how they thought they were "revolutionizing the animation industry" with their software. XD

Thank you, based Cr1tikal. Smithy does sort of look like Strider Hiryu, now that I think about it.

@Metabad Let's be honest there are PLENTY of PS1 games that look way better than this.

@TheOmega887 Well, at least those characters don't have visible corners everywhere.

They'll still give me nightmares, though.

I've seen CGI from 1972 better than this. Just look up "A Computer Animated Hand" or "Faces & Body Parts" by Frederic Ira Parke.
