It's a real shame Ocean didn't dub Zeta, because most of the replacement voices for the returning characters from 0079 just don't cut it for me even if they are alright on there own. I'm too much of a Ocean fanboy I guess?

I watched the show subbed and I think Nobuo Tobita (Kamille Bidan) gave such a fantastic performance, as did Shuichi Ikeda (Char Aznable), Hirotaka Suzouki (Bright Noa), Toru Furuya (Amuro Ray) and Yoshiko Sakakibara (Haman Karn).

Say what you want about Tomino but he knows how to pick great VA's.

@Autovolt I know what you mean. I'm torn between continuing to watch Zeta in English (since I watched all of MSG0079 dubbed and it can be a pain to marathon long series subtitled) or switching to Japanese with subs just for consistency of both actors and acting quality.

I mean, the Zeta dub isn't absolutely unacceptable or anything, but it really doesn't hold up in comparison to more modern dubs, even of later Gundam series, where the MSG0079 dub does for the most part.
