From beginning to end, this is a marvelous show that really demands the viewers' undivided attention. The series doesn't pull any punches in terms of conveying different moods over the course of 13 episodes. The little details scattered throughout coupled with two very endearing protagonists, strong voice work, and an atmosphere a person could practically breathe in make the anime worthwhile. On another note, whilst the animation in hindsight is dated in places, the art in of itself compliments the general vibe Kino's Journey gives off, and its color palette is no slouch in the personality department either. Rather nostalgic and at points storbook-esque. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check this out - highly recommended.

Also the opening and ending theme songs are great; the closer more so, which is sung by Kino's seiyuu.

New season announced! Wonder if Sentai will be able to get Kelli back.
