Mike McFarland is known for making excellent English dubs that have set a high standard in the world of anime voice acting and Eden of the East's English Dub is another modest winner for Mike's continuous excellence in his track record as a ADR Director! The English dub for Eden of the East is properly cast everyone fits their characters quite nicely..the English dub flows quite naturally with every voice actor/actress giving consistently good performances in the main and supporting roles their really is no real stand out performance by anyone in the dub purely because in all honesty the entire voice cast was all on par with each other in terms of their performances.Jason Liebrecht and Leah Clark were likeable as the two lead characters while Kent Williams and Chris Sabat gave respectable performances as the Doctor and the Detective showing that they are among the best in their business.Cynthia Cranz only had a few sentences worth of dialogue but she was memorable as was John Gremillion with his great sophisticated sounding voice. Stephanie Young's voice flawlessly fit Juiz and Newton Pittman was well cast as Yutaka Itazu..overall a genuinely solid English Dub by Mike its not among his finest like the English dubs of the Fullmetal Alchemist Franchise or Summer Wars but its indeed a respectable effort in the end.I don't find Eden of the East to be phenomenal but I do like it.
