 1 Shout Out!
Taking everything into account, this anime was surprisingly good. Despite its "been there, done that" premise coupled with a wonky start and inconsistent artistry, Chivalry's a show that hits more than misses. The animation in of itself is well-directed, the soundtrack done by Kotaro Nakagawa is ear candy, and the overall dynamic between the two lead roles is almost realistic in a way; what also helps is that Ikki and Stella are already good characters by themselves. Without giving a whole lot away, this one anime either executes tropes straight on or tweaks 'em in a relatively tasteful fashion when compared to other peers. Is it perfect? Nope. Is it the most mind-blowing creation the anime industry has provided the market? God no. But Failed Knight is certainly a work that can showcase more than what's on the surface initially as the show progresses.

On two additional notes, the voice acting is quite solid and the opening and ending themes are likable, too; personally it was nice to hear Mikio Sakai sing again on the opener and Ali Project for the closer song.
