Ben 10: Omniverse

@TheVengeanceKnight Also your comparison makes no sense, Ultimate and Spectular aren't related in continuity. I will give you that Alien Force didn't seem like a sequel due to the many continuity issues.

@TheVengeanceKnight Maybe they just can't get in contact with them or they are too busy. I hope it's not because they dislike the roles, the oringal Ben 10 had the best work I've seen.

@Music Meister I know Steve Blum's pretty fond of the Ben 10 stuff he did, don't know about the others, though I would think that they'd like their Ben 10 work, too.

@optimasprime1 Got your profile. There's an edit avatar option. Though it depends on what computer you have if it will work. After going in to edit avatar mode you go pick the image you want in another tab, save it with your mouse and then click on the Browse button and find where you saved it, click on it, and save it, Oh and in the future stuff like this belongs in the forums.

@Music Meister What I heard in between the original series and Season 3 of Alien Force Season 2 of Wolverine and the X-men was still being made and Steve opted to work on that since he would have to be replaced for Season 2 and I think Jim Ward did the same for said reasons. The decision made sense but of course turned out to be bad one when the show was canceled both were replaced and I were either barred from returning or chose not to.

@TheVengeanceKnight Maybe it's because the two aforementioned shows were, from what I gather, not as good as the first series? Whatever the reason, just because something is lighter and softer doesn't make it any less valid than any so-called "mature and serious" program. Not that I'm interested in this show (or any of them for that matter) myself, but the point still stands.

Probably because Af and UA weren't all that great. I hate to say it, but Murakumi and McDuffie kinda blew it with those two. Those two series weren't very good on their own, but taking taking into account the fact they're sequels, they weren't good ones and they clashed with the continuity and characters a lot.

Lighter and Softer can be done well (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) or done poorly (Ultimate Spider-Man), and this seems like a case of the latter, unfortunately.

And I actually preferred AF and UA (well, S1-2 or AF and S1 of UA, anyway) over the original. :-P

@GothamRed The linear, long-term story arcs appealed to me more than a bunch of standalone episodes. ;-)

@TheVengeanceKnight Okay, but the atmosphere was far more boring since aside for occasional vague one-shot planets, they stayed stagnant in the same place. Not only that, but all the real world issue they brought in were really out of place most of the time and really tedious. Half the time they came out of nowhere and left just a suddenly. IMO

@TheVengeanceKnight If somebody is truly entitled to their opinion, they should have no problem backing themselves up when they need to. Your defensive inquiry just now suggests that you have no adequate reasoning for your preference beyond "story arcs and maturity". Surely that's not enough to justify all the bad writing and all the bad animation and (from what I hear) a contradictory connection to the original series. The bottom line is if you can't properly fortify yourself, you aren't as entitled as you think you are.
