I have never been a fan of motion comics, actually i never was. But yesterday accidently on you tube i watched Batman:Black and White-Two of a Kind-written and ilustrated by Bruce Timm.
I was amazed, astonished. I have seen most of Bruce Timm's art and the very thing that amazed me was the fact that he never fears to show seduction in his work, the beauty of the female characters, in art or animation.
The plot in this episode is a somewhat classic like in a erotic-thriller, a plot that we have seen far too many times than we can count. But executed perfectly it carves in to our mind.
Two-Face voiced by John Fitzgerald is a fitting replacement for Richard Moll(who perhaps might have done even better in this episode) but none the less captured Harvey Dent's duality beautifully.
Janyse Jaud's dual voice was perfect and even now i still hear her as the femme fatale Madelyn and the gentle soul Marilyn.
Bruce Timm did a masterpiece that is worthy enough even for a DC animated Original movie.
"there is an angel for some and a devil for all"
Bravo maestro... bravo.
