NEWS - SDCC16: First Look At Hey Arnold! Revival
Reported by Foxwolf on Sun Jul 24 2016

It's been for a while that Hey Arnold! would be making a comeback in the form of a two-hour movie titled Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie.

Now we have a first look at what the character art and designs will look like, which was shown during the Nickelodeon panel at Comic Con.

With newcomer Mason Vale Cotton voicing Arnold (along with both new and old voices taking on the other characters), the story will answer the long-anticipated question of what happened to Arnold's parents.

Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie will air in 2017. For additional character sheet images, check out the full Variety article.

Hey Arnold! Was quite literally my childhood. I'm interested in seeing this become a reality!

I really like these new character designs... but I really hope that isn't how the backgrounds are going to look in the final product. I don't know how to describe it, but it just looks too clean, flat and cheap. Like something I'd expect to see on DeviantArt or something made with cheap software.

Anyway, I'm super excited for this movie. I've really grown to love the show recently and it makes me really happy to see this movie becoming a reality.

@PsychicVoiceSpy Agreed. It needs that slightly grungy 90's New-York City look the original show had.

Is it me, or does Gerald look weird compared to the others. Mainly the eyes
