@MissRamdini Ya and worst of all, the charater design. I prefer the old one. Now they look like a show for babies.

The show from Beware the Batman gives me some hope for the series, but the Teen Titans Go shots do nothing for me but reaffirm my lack of interest in it.

(I apologize for my previous commet, I was mad)
The Batman pic looks like he's trying to be dark and mysterious but that contradicts the fact it's a pig and fish as villains.

I do not think Titains Go! Will be good. The shorts were funny for two reasons:
1. They were Chibi versions of the shows version thus looked and acted as you would want them.
2. They were quick, character driven moments. Jokes you'd get if you watched the show that would point at a certain character and moment, thy disnt need to be long. I can't see those jokes lasting for 22 minutes

@Music Meister With that logic, it's futile for Batman to be dark in the first place when they have a bat as a hero vs a clown, a penguin, a cat, and a plant as villains.

Pyg and Toad are very dark villains. If anything, they had to tone them DOWN to fit in the show.

@D.A.V.E. And to satisfy Standards and Practices after the TDKRises theater shooting.

BtB, as expected, looks dim, depressing and doesn't seem at all like it wants to draw you in. And to think such a simple concept as appeal used to be second nature to animators.

While I respect the TTG! show for going for a simpler design approach than its predecessor (animating some of those designs on the old show must not have been fun) and at least attempting to be appealing, the character models still feel rather stiff, and the bright coloring's pretty tough on the eyes.

Okay, that pic from BtB looks pretty cool.

@TheVengeanceKnight i'm impressed too. the lighting and textures are pretty slick. it's certainly a huge step up from Green Lantern. no doubt a Batman series has a way bigger budget though.

@Foxwolf Let's just hope the writing's good, and the execute meddling after the TDKRises shooting incident doesn't hurt the series too much.

@TheVengeanceKnight it's pretty stupid they had to wait for a massacre to realize representing guns in a kid's show needed "meddling".

@Foxwolf Seriously, why couldn't they do something like Gargoyles did and do an episode that educates the audience about gun violence?

@Foxwolf But still, it's got more potential than anything Marvel Animation's cooking up now.

@TheVengeanceKnight Because cartoons aren't supposed to be educational? The TV isn't a babysitter.

@CatsTuxedo Very true.

Though Gargoyles actually addressed gun control in an intelligent manner that did not talk down to kids or came off as too preachy.

@CatsTuxedo What DAVE said, though "educate" might not be the best word to describe it.
