So with Revenge of the Fallen coming next month, it was a good time to add the live Transformers movie to the site.
Personally I cannot wait for the sequel and am curious about the new voices for the new bots and especially hearing Frank Welker return to the role of Soundwave.

The new trailer for the upcoming 3D Astro Boy movie is here and for the first time we get to here rising star Freddie Highmore playing our favorite kid robot.
While for me it will take some getting used to the new voice (having grown up on the 80's series), I definitely feel that Astro needs a fresh reboot for this generation. While I love the old series, his voice back then did sound a little girlish. Freddie's voice is much more boy-like :P

Marvel has released a new trailer for the upcoming Iron Man series where you get to hear a few lines from lead character Tony Stark, voiced by Adrian Petriw. The only other recent voice role he's played was Hawkeye from Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.
Based on the trailer, this series is looking close to being like the 3D MTV Spider-Man series from the early 2000s, which is not a good thing.

TC Carson had some big bada** shoes to fill when he took on the role of Mace Windu in Star Wars The Clone Wars. He talks about the strength of the character and how he actually recorded with the actors which allowed him to act off them, different to when he recorded solo for God Of War.
Man, if anyone has a more bada** voice and attitude, its definitely Carson. I mean, do you hear how resonating his voice is in God Of War? It would make any man tremble :P

Special Agent Simmons actor John Turturo is said to be voicing a certain jet in the upcoming live action Transformers sequel.
I was never fond of the Agent Simmons character, even though Turturo is a great actor. Much too a cartoony character for a movie of that tone, especially for an agent. So his acting ability might transfer well into voice over into one of the new Bots.

Best known for his role of Bender in Futurama, John DiMaggio talks about his recurring role of Aquaman in the Brave and the Bold. He talks about how the show opens up the comedic door for the superhero genre, and how it allows Diedrich Bader's Batman to be more fun.
At first I thought it was too campy to do a "lighter" Batman, but it does open up the script and allows for different interactions between Batman and the rest of the heroes and villains. If the same serious tone was retained from the rest of the past DC series, then we'd just have another Justice League, which I really miss :(

To celebrate Dragon Ball Z's 20th Anniversary, DBZ is coming back as Dragon Ball Kai, condensing the series into a quicker paced story, using the original animation mixed with new technology, a new remix of music, but one thing that isn't changing is the original Japanese cast.

This is Rosario's first big voiceover role and she talks about the challenges involved in taking on the Greek goddess Artemis. She talks about listening as being key to pulling off a role.

With the game out on PS3 and XBox360, not only does Samuel L. Jackon reprise his role from the series, but he's joined by veteran actors Ron Perlman and Kelly Hu.

Voiced by Liam O'Brien, the producers describe Nightcrawler's character as closer to the comics than his goofy X-Men Evolution counterpart. Which means he's more serious, has more purpose and is driven by good. Hopefully, his humor won't be lost in the translation.
