I think this film could have been a bit better had the characters all been human instead of just another cash-in Don Bluth rip off.

Some of these characters almost look like humans with animal ears and simple nose replacements. I can't remember if I ever saw this years ago.

Pretty good adaption. Has a great sense of adventure and the voices are pretty good as well. Despite some minor changes to the plot it follows the book nicely. One thing though is the music isn't bad but some of the songs go well with the story but don't suit the characters. The painting song and (for these versions) the cave song fit the most. I prefer the Sherman Bros. version as it's music went well with both the story and characters plus it's just entertaining to listen to(not that this music isn't but I heard that music first). It's also one of may favorite live action adaptions.

Eh, I like it. xD It got through to me a lot easier since they were all animals and whatnot. I kinda found it on accident, but it was a nice, simple movie with (slightly) darker undertones. The songs were pretty good too - at least, they were catchy when I was younger. ...Okay, they're still kinda catchy. xD
