Must have been in production for a while. Dusty's still alive in this film.

@Stare at the Sun Well, Dusty passed a little more than a year before this was released, and that can be typical for series or shows - voice over is sometime recorded a full year before an episode even airs.

Am I the only one who thinks Matthew Lilliard sounds really off as Shaggy here?

@GreenGoblin75 Nah, I agree with you. Just something about his delivery seems different than usual.

I thought Mindy Cohn was supposed to still do the DTV films but Kate did this one?

@SupremeTarantulas Has there been any actual proof that this was the case, though? I've heard people say that Mindy herself stated this, but I haven't come across any definitive proof myself.

And even if there is proof, unfortunately, she's not the casting director. :/ That's the business. Just because an actor says "I'll totally be back" doesn't mean they WILL be back. (Except for Ahnald, because he'll always be back.)

@TylerMirage Mindy tweeted this last year:
"gratefully gang, i get to still voice Velma for all DVDs/games so welcome @katemicucci & know there's room to share!"

But I guess it is best to take her response with a grain of salt. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Kate is now her official voice all around. O.o

Why is every franchise getting a WWE movie now, no matter how little sense it makes?

"Coming this summer... Hello Kitty and WWE: Kitty Smackdown!"

@CerealBoxHead46 So what exactly DOESN'T make sense about the Scooby-Doo gang crossing over with the WWE? ;)

@TylerMirage It's not as much this particular one (the Flintstones one makes way less sense IMO), it's just that... well, why is this trend even a thing?

@CerealBoxHead46 Agreed that the Flintstones one makes less sense, but you gotta' consider the franchise. Scooby-Doo has had crossovers/meetings with literary characters like Dracula, other HB characters like Yogi Bear and Dynomutt, celebs like David Cross and Mark Hamill, groups like the Harlem Globetrotters and KISS. The franchise has quite often taken place in established, real-world EVENTS, so real-life PEOPLE is merely an extension of that.

Not to mention that the franchise, at its core, is about insane, over-the-top, fun and silly scenarios. What better pairing than with professional wrestling? :P

If you want to address the specifics pertaining to the WWE, they're expanding their horizons into other entertainment venues. Animated movies is just one of those. Cross-promotion and all that jazz.

@CerealBoxHead46 I don't know what a race has to do with WWE either. Why dosen't The Rock get in this?
