I can't wait for the sequel Rainbow Rocks. I won't probably be able to see it in theaters but I might be able to watch it when it comes out on Blu-Ray. The reason why i don't think I'll be able to see it in theaters is because the original got a limited theatrical release and my theater didn't get it. I hope that it doesn't become one of the lowest grossing animated films like Delgo, 2007 animated Ten Commandments, and Freddie as F.R.O.7. I heard the first one didn't do so well in the box office, but it's popular enough to have a sequel at least. Does anyone know how much many this movie made because I couldn't find it on Wikipedia or Box Office Mojo.

Right, I watched it. .... it was decent.

I liked how we got SOME ponies, humans then back to humans. It gives the bronies (Me included) a nice pony dose. Sadly, some of the plot points are solved Waaaay to quickly, but it was just a minor flaw. The acting was really good, typical MLP acting, but with a better standard. I LOOOVED the glitched theme remix by Alex S that was used in the opening bit. I also loved some of the songs, my favourite being 'Helping Twilight Win the Crown'.

In all. Equestria Girls is nothing special. It has some flaws (Especially the lack of a certain human obsessed, blue mare) But in all, it had some good moments. Equestria girls gets a 7/10

As well as toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners.

@pokemastanumba1 Well, it was made because of bronies. And here's the proof, courtesy of MLP comic writer and artist Katie Cook and Andy Price:

It's set in an American school with multicoloured humans; it's 'Doug' with magic! >:-)

This is basically a girls' version of 'Doug', right down to everyone being multicolored. With magic and action added in.

@BlankSlate Truthfully, the multicolored humans are the only comparison you can make between those two properties, so calling this a girl version of that would be quite inaccurate if not outright insulting.

@CatsTuxedo Sorry I insulted my own gender.

@BlankSlate Not exactly what I was referring to, but alright.

@CatsTuxedo IMHO, I'd consider it "My Little Pony" transplanted into the "Monster High" universe.

Why do we even have fan artists, the creators do fine on their own.

@GothamRed But why should the creators have all the fun?

@SpongeBat1 Why shouldn't they?

@VctrBnsn Oh the humanity!

@LordofEvil96 A lot of people are hating this film because it gives people a better chance to have 'wrong' thoughts about these characters. I say, that was happening long before this movie. Plus, I don't think it's just fan service for the guys. I think the Pegasisters are going crazy for human Macintosh's dreamy Justin Beiber stare.
