Do you think that Fred gets to reprise this role in KFP3, or will he be replaced by celebrity?

@The Doctor I'd say it depends on how large the role is.

If it's relatively minor, they might get Fred back. But given the penchant for casting big names for big roles, if the character is actually going to be something substantial, I wouldn't bet money on Fred coming back.

@The Doctor I feel very confident in thinking that this is Bryan Cranston's role.

@NCZ Yeah, thought the same thing myself. While I have nothing against casting celebrities for voice acting roles (as long as they can pull it off), but it's always little sad when professional voice actors get replaced by them.

@NCZ That's a pretty good guess. Wouldn't surprise me if that was what ended up happening.

@The Doctor Though, when it comes to "celebrity replacements", they could do worse than Cryin' Branston. ;) At least he's a celebrity VA with a wide range and plenty of talent.

@TylerMirage Very true and don't worry. I'm not going to ban this movie, or anything like that, just because it has Bryan "freaking" Cranston. While it would have been cool to see Fred get major role in major animated movie, it was kinda obvious from day one that he was just placeholder.

I think Fred Tatasciore could totally have risen to the occasion and taken on a larger role for Po's dad. He could have gotten his name out there more, like Jim Cummings as Ray in The Princess and the Frog.
