This is really minor, but why didn't they credit the wolf Chimera? He didn't speak a whole lot, but I think he should have been in the regular cast instead of just shoved in additional voices.

Anyway, I enjoyed this movie. It was pretty entertaining.

I gotta say, even though the animation looked like it was done with crayons in the first half of the movie (really squiggly character outlines) and the new characters weren't particularly inspired, I really, really enjoyed this movie.

The location and characters of the movie all had great, interesting backgrounds, the colors in the movie really popped, and the animation in the second half of the movie was pretty impressive. It had a little tragedy and angst, a lot of awesome action, general philosophical themes of war and betrayal without getting too preachy, a few plot twists and all the things I would come to expect from Fullmetal Alchemist.

If this really is the last of Fullmetal Alchemist (I sorta doubt it) then I will feel at peace with the franchise's end overall. I thought this captured the spirit of the franchise exceptionally well and if any of you are afraid that this film will just leave you disappointed as a fan of everything thus far (whether it be the original, Brotherhood, or both) don't be, give it a watch. I was considering skipping this movie altogether until it showed up on Netflix, and I'm really glad I didn't.

Fullmetal Alchemist -The Sacred Star of Milos was kinda of uneven throughout its run and it truly did not start to get really interesting until the one hour mark BUT it does have its moments of greatness when voice acting, fluid animation and music all come together flawlessly to create quite a few very memorable scenes that will stay embedded in your mind for sometime. The most noteworthy vocal performances that stood out in the English dub are from Matthew Mercer,Vic Mignogna,Alexis Tipton and Patrick Seitz..all of them were excellent but particularly Matthew Mercer who truly shined in the last part of the film.I enjoyed the film for what it is a side story film to an already accomplished and finished franchise..it was a little to long but well worth my time in the end..highly recommend.
