I discovered the original trailer from 2002 was put on youtube a couple years ago. Oh my god, I hate that we didn't get this.

I mean the animation isn't amazing, but for straight to DVD in 2002, it looks really good and it's so expressive and clean compared to the one we got. It honestly makes me sad we didn't get this version.

@skeletonking1234

I agree the animation is a "little" better and cleaner than what we got. The characters are a "little" bit emotive than what I remember.

However, this movie still is a 0/10 for me. Foodfight is one of those rare moments where I gave absolutely no credit for and it sits just on top of DBE for me.

*sigh* At least James Marsters was somewhat of a decent Piccolo.

@skeletonking1234 To think the characters could've had some actually facial expressions.

@skeletonking1234 I just wonder if Foodfight would still be considered the worst animated film of all time if it didn't get stolen.

@skeletonking1234 Then again, 2002 was the same year Jonah a Veggietales movie was released.

This might be another movie I'll willingly pass up alongside The Garbage Pail Kids Movie, though I will admit that Jeff Bennett does a good Tim Curry impression!

@Jacob M. Keene I've been listening to it more, and now to me he sounds kinda like Tim Curry doing an Alan Rickman impression!

Another bad celebrity driven movie, most of these characters look nothing like the food they are meant to represent

The designs are ****ing terrible. I've not seen this film but I don't think I want to either.

I can't believe this is a kids movie. A dog with a woman with cat ears in his arms is the poster at the top of the screen??? Something tells me this has beastallity in it.

And why does it have sex references??? I guess that's why Charlie Sheen's in the movie.

@Ross123 I found out about it from looking up bad character design when I was studying up for what is bad to improve on my drawing but yeah I am not seeing it(However I saw a Youtube review of it that was mocking the film with how beauty is good and too many characters are piling up with poor development are emphasized in the fim)

But in the end it's just a really bad cash in the comedy film stuff as far as I'm concerned

I don't mind cat girls but not with a dog and for this case it seems like they made her a cat girl to be cute and sexy I mean she doesn't represent raisins at all(well the dog does not look like cinnamon cereal either but you get my point)
Oh god sex reference... I dunno but it shouldn't be stuck on for the sake of it, there are other humours out there, those kind of jokes need A LOT of work to be even passable

@HienFan Yeah, I've seen reviews on this movie too just to know how bad it is. And that's how I learned of its existence.

It was originally stolen I believe. Probably for the better in this case, if only the thieves could have destroyed the footage completely then the people who saw it wouldn't have had to suffer the horror.

I don't like the fact that the animals are made to be sexy since it's a kids movie supposedly. The people who made it must've been high when they thought it up.

@Ross123 And they must be high on the voice casting as well, most of these characters sounds waaaay overboard in obnoxiousness

The best I can think of is how to mock the various works and that's if you have can stomach over and hour of ugly graphic that will make the PS1 ashamed(I could never finish certain genre of anime because most of what they showcase is so bad...)

@HienFan I'm curler to BAD movies. Foodfight's graphics are worse than the unlicensed crap on the Atari 2600. Yeah I went there.

It's a shame because some great VAs were involved in this film. Makes me sad knowing that.

@Ross123 You know I'd thought I was crazy when I say every ugly thing I see look worse than a PS1 title(considering many criticism of ugly work is 'it looks like a PS1 title' as if the PS1 has the ugliest graphic ever), looks like you have the same view

For that note I seen prettier NES games than this film though people will wonder HOW I can see than when everything is a blocky 8 bit sprite

PS I actually do think the later PS1 and Dreamcast is the best looking era

@HienFan Well what can I say, the creators of the movie clearly have no skill whatsoever when it comes to designing characters.

What hurts the most is the cast of professional VAs in this. James Arnold Taylor, Greg Eagles, Eliza Jane Schnieder, Jeff Bennett, Enn Reitel, AND GREG FREAKING ELLIS have been through hell and back. I salute you for that.

Here's my one question: How do you make Wayne Brady annoying instead of funny? Until I saw this movie, I thought it was impossible.

When I first saw this movie at Wal-mart, I thought It was a mockbuster of Wreck-It Ralph just with food instead of Video Games.

@CartoonFreak666 I think that's in the ball park of what they wanted it to be... except they wanted to be serious about it...... and boooy did it backfire

Jeff Bennett is a voice acting war hero. He went in there... into the fray of this awful, awful movie, to rescue Tim Curry from another embarrassment. I mean, Curry wouldn't have minded, he's done plenty of dumb stuff in his career, but this was beneath him, so Jeff voluntarily stepped in to take his place, to take the bullet for him.
I salute you, Jeff.

very one, Cast and Crew, aboard this wasted their time, money, resources (If you can call it that) talent, effort, and moments of their lives on this rot.

That's just as dreadful as the audience wasting their time, money, and moments of their own lives.

I believe the $65,000,000 spent on this movie would have been better off being mulched.

Looks like they wasted a lot of money getting talented professional veteran voice actors (and some not-so-veteran actors), and not enough money on talented modelers, animators, and writers.

@immblueversion well to be fair, half the film was stolen so they had to redo most of the film in a short time period

This looks strange. Anyone know what this is about? The voice cast is interesting. This might be the most annoying role I have ever heard JAT in. The character designs look awful though. Especially the toddler's mom. She is going to haunt my nightmares.

@coolgeek176 Basically, take Casablanca, make the characters product mascots in a grocery store, stuff the script full of food puns and Dreamworks-style "mature" "jokes" and you have this movie.

I can definitely say it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. The sole redeeming element keeping this from being the absolute worst would have to be Christopher Lloyd.
