Aladdin is based off an old story that doesn't really "belong" to anyone, so the Disney version and this version would be separate. i.e. you won't see Cam Clarke in the voice compare for Disney's Aladdin.
Whereas something like Peter Pan and the Pirates is technically in the same franchise as Disney's Peter Pan because they're both adaptations of a book.
