I haven't seen this movie in a long time. Now I'm starting to regain my interest for it.

Goofy Goof at his finest. There's no doubt about it.

 1 Shout Out!
Very very good movie from the house that usually works on those poor sequels

And very interesting take for Goofy, a more serious heartwarming work, it still has comedy but as a whole more serious and emotional than the average work with Goofy with a family relationship of a single father and a teenage son as the main focus

...How did I NOT have this movie in my favourites before?!

Time to rectify this...

Now THIS is a very eccentric setting for a character like Goofy: subarban dad trying to raise an angst-ridden teen going through the typical coming-of-age rituals of discovering independence, girls, and social acceptance in a story involving rock and roll, tall tales, high school pranks, and... Bigfoot? Surprisingly, though, it works. Not only does it give Goofy a chance to express his emotional side, it also is peppered with delightful songs (the Powerline rock numbers especially), memorable scenes, and, at the core, the relationship arc between Goofy and Max as they learn to see "eye to eye" with one another while helping the latter getting out of a silly predicament. More emotionally charged than laugh-out-loud funny, but while not a "classic", it is still a favorite of mine.

Honestly, one of my favorite Disney films, PERIOD. I actually rank this alongside Lion King, Fox and the Hound, and Lilo and Stitch for me. There's just something about this movie that's always touched me.
