The Amazing Spider-Man is a third-person open world action/adventure video game, a tie-in for the film of the same name, featuring the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. It was developed by Beenox, developer of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time and published by Activision. It was released June 26, 2012 in North America and June 29, 2012 in Europe, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Wii, Android, and iOS. The game serves as an epilogue to The Amazing Spider-Man film, and was written and scripted by Seamus Kevin Fahey, of Battlestar Galactica fame.
