Crispin Freeman: Current image is better because it's in colour, the lighting isn't so harsh and he's smiling.
JYB: I, personally, still prefer the current image. It's in colour and again, the lighting isn't as harsh. But in yours he is smiling, which is a plus. It'll be up to the other mods/admins. Linda Larkin: This one is much better than our current one. It definitely gets my vote.

Crispin Freeman: Current is better due to colour and smile.
Johnny Yong Bosch: Current is better due to colour and being more representative of his prime. Linda Larkin: Much better. For the record, we generally prefer colour images, hence why the first two were turned down. However, we WILL take a high-quality B&W image over a poor-quality or otherwise-flawed colour one. |

Nice work, pokemasta.
Personally...Rothery: I like both, the only problem with the first one might be actually getting permission to use it, since it's someone's official photo. But both are definitely improvements. Elias: Image isn't showing up. Wulfeck: Harsh lighting on the right is a bit of a put-off, but still an improvement over the current one. Sheridan: I approve. Downes: I approve. Horan: Very much approve. Baker: I do like it, but we mods/admins are currently also selecting from a large roster of potential Baker pics. Patton: I approve. Let's see what the others think. |

Teryl Rothery: First
Kelly Sheridan: Like the colour, don't like how it cuts off the head a bit. There is something I kind of like about the current one. I guess I could go either way, but watch out for those cut-off head photos. Sarah Wulfeck: Yours is better than the current, but I recall there are some even better ones out there, so I'll go looking for those. James Horan: Current Steve Downes: Either way Troy Baker: Better than current, but as Tyler said we're considering other pics Mike Patton: Better |

Here's the link to Jeannie Elias's photo (hopefully others can see it):
http://www.spokeo.com/Jeannie+Elias+...chive+Pictures As for Teryl Rothery's first image, I didn't think copyright infringement would be a concern since its source didn't indicate any sort of policy regarding that, and BTVA does use several official photos owned by various third-party representatives (such as Kimberly Brooks). Even if it was, I'm thinking what I (or someone else) can do is mirror it, crop off the embossed copyright marking, and edit the background. Though if that's still not the right thing to do, the second one can be used. But here's the page I got the first one from: http://vancouverportraitphotography....ctor-headshot/

We sure that's the right Jeannie Elias? This seems like one of those sites that gathers images the same way Google Images does. In other words, it collects images from around the net using keywords. It could be someone else with the same name, it might be someone with a completely different name.
For now, I'm voting to keep the current one. |
