Season 2 - Where Did You Hear About the Contest?

I had heard about it when Pgirts did it last season. I thought it was a cool way to practice voice ability. And when I heard there were auditions for season 2 I jumped at the first chance I had.

I read it on the VAA last year, but as I was just 'beginning' in voice acting I didn't want to join yet, but I did follow most round results. For this second season I found it on VAA again when that thread got updated.

I saw it on this site about a week ago but I was unsure wether I wanted to audition or not so I did it anyway and I hope it was good but I feel good about it XD

I heard about it from Kyle Hebert's Twitter. I'd always wanted to get into voice-over work, and this is as good a time as any!

I just saw it as an advertisement on the site here. As for why I created an account, I discovered this site a few months ago and wanted to comment on something, or maybe I wanted to use the forums to suggest a change. I can't remember.

Trivia: I've been using this username on every website (where I don't use my real name) since I was 15, on the Nintendo NSider Forums (now defunct). The name comes from Nintendogs, which I was really into at the time.

haha, cool trivia. I've used foxwolf2099 on every other registered site. I couldn't use "Foxwolf" as it was taken but here at BTVA I was able to claim it lol

I had heard of Season 1 while it was going on but I missed the audition process (Probably for the best as I was much less experienced back then!). I loved the idea of the contest as a means for everyone to practice and hone their talents so I was excited for a second season! I had actually been visiting this site quite often as a VA reference as well as for the awesome Voice Compares, but I finally decided to register and hopefully help this great community grow in any way possible!
