Well, I'm not familiar with these cartoons except Yogi's Gang (I saw a few episodes when I was very little, I think), but I searched for them in the catalogue of my local library and found a collection called "Saturday morning cartoons. 1970s, volume 1" which listed these in the contents

Quote:
Assignment Ahaab apparition from Goober and the Ghost Chasers ; Greedy Genie from Yogi's Gang ; Double date from Roman Holidays
I don't know which characters you're missing/how much help these specific episodes would be, but I assume at least the Goober and Roman Holidays are useful since you don't have any of those yet?

There's another volume with "Deep threat from Sea Lab 2020" and "Diamonds are a crook's best friend from Inch High Private Eye". It's being shelved, so it should probably be there when I (hopefully) go tomorrow.

Anyway, these sound interesting, and I'd love to take some screencaps to help out while I sit at my comp and rot my brain.

...I just hope they haven't been badly scratched or something. =/

And if you could give me a list of which ones you already have from these shows so I don't waste time on those?

Well, it's likely to be a week or so until I get the DVDs. They were both checked out when I went today. Unbelievable. I'll put a hold on 'em so I'll be sure to get them when they come back.

Got 'em yesterday! They're great fun, I'm so glad I got these. Grabbed pics from Goober and the Ghost Chasers (first show to come up as I watched). I officially love this show, even though maybe the extent to which it's just a Scooby clone should bug me. xD I'll do some more today if I don't get interrupted a lot like yesterday.

Oh, I went ahead and cropped/resized these myself so they're all 210x240 now, I assume that just saves you some work but if you'd prefer me to just upload the full pics just say the word. I'm finally getting the hang of it. Found a very helpful little aspect ratio calculator so I can figure out how wide I ought to crop it so resizing doesn't squish it. xD

Goober

Tina

Gilly

Ted

Laurie Partridge

Danny Partridge

Tracy Partridge

Chris Partridge

I don't know if you need these, but I went ahead and grabbed the title screen and a couple of group shots (hereand here) that I thought might be good for that banner y'all usually have with all the characters.

Oh, and one last thing, I didn't think of it until I got to the credits and saw John Stephenson there (oh yeah, that's why the minor characters sound just like on Scooby, it's the same guy!) but I could go back and grab some pics of the ghostie of the week, as it were. xD There was the old fisherman who warned them about the ghost of Captain Ahab, then there was the ghost himself, but both a fake one (who was the same smuggler disguising himself as the old fisherman, just to add further confusion) and the real one. xD They're probably all him, I'm sure at least one was, I just wasn't paying attention enough to remember who had which voice/whether they were actually the same. So focused on the other characters/trying to enjoy the show a little while I'm at it.

You are welcome sooo much. ^_^ I honestly love doing this; I enjoy being useful in general, and, well, BTVA is almost like an answer to prayer for me. It's that thing that I always thought in the back of my mind someone ought to do whenever I tried to find a full list of credits for a VA and in the end just couldn't, or thought how useless the "typical credit list of text names" can be unless I have the show handy to watch...Being a part of the expansion of this awesome database into its rightful state of completion is just the coolest thing. ^^ Not to mention actually seeing the site change in response to my input is amazing. I get such a charge out of that. I'm totally gonna end up some kind of BTVA junkie...just like you always planned, to get more free labor out of me! :p Yes, I'm on to you, but that's okay, that's totally my evil plan too. XD

/rambling

Moving on then. This episode of Yogi's Gang has proved disappointing. I knew there was no way that whole list would be in one ep, I just hoped there'd be more. I was only able to get a few characters on the list from the show itself, plus a few villains that make an appearance in the opening sequence.

Wally Gator

Greedy Genie

Smiley the hobo

Smokestack Smog? (called Mr. Smog in the intro; looking at that character design I'd sure tend to think he's Smokestack XD)

Lotta Litter

Hilarious P. Prankster

From here on the pics really aren't that great, the only way to get any more characters was to find them in group shots in the opening/ending, and they tended to be too small, or have part of their head going out of frame, etc, etc. I did my best and these are the results, but I don't know if you'll want to use any of these. At the least they all have kinda awkward looking bits of other characters in the pics.

Atom Ant

Augie Doggie

Peter Potamus

Squiddly Diddly

Touché Turtle

And finally we have my arch-nemesis, Baba Looey. There's this frame with him that's nice enough besides just being much too small; if you make it 210 pixels wide it becomes a pic of Peter Potamus instead. I usually try to avoid stretching pics; it always seems to distort them worse than shrinking (besides the fact that it's necessary just being a sign of poor quality to begin with), but this kinda seemed to work ok...

See, this is the original:

Which looks like this at 210x240:

Then there's this one, lopsided rather than small as such, tall and thin and in the background.

Well, I guess now that I see how it can work I could try cropping some of the others a bit closer and resizing them up, they might look a little better...but right now I am tired and sick of messing with these.

Sorry I couldn't help more with this one. Still, this does put a dent in that list...just a rather small one.

Oh, right, the group pics. *really nearly posted this without them*

http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...Gang/Group.jpg
http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/a...ang/Group2.jpg (this is the same as or at least quite similar to the one currently on the semi-non-existent show page, just much more better quality XD)

Awesome I will add these later today - And I will probably use them all since even the ones that are from the group shots are better than nothing for the time being!

Thanks again you rock!
