Default Flash Live Action Series

So obviously not animation related but still comics related.

The first look at Grant Gustin as the live action Flash series (spun off from Arrow)

Obviously need a fuller look, but I'm liking the texture and color. However, Gustin still looks too young and I still think visually fits the bill of Wally West more than Barry Allen.

Looks alright so far. Yes, I do think Grant looks young, but at least his youthful appearance was addressed on Arrow. Oliver said something about if his parents knew he was out or something like that. At least they aren't trying to pretend that he doesn't look younger than he is.

The show is decent, plots are good, a fine introduction to Flash, and some characters seem original to the show and are unpredictable as a result. Acting is decent, and whatever stories and characters they introduce will be interesting.

Enjoying it so far. It's an origin story that is thankfully not taking too long to get set up. Barry has the costume and we are seeing actual villains who are given comic book names.

I hope Clancy Brown gets to voice Grodd in this. Like General Eiling stole him and gave him his thought patterns or something, so he'd have his voice. Liking it but I think the villains need more screen time, so far Joe and Iris are the focus, and we didn't get enough of Captain Cold, though hopefully when they introduce the Rogues this will be fixed. I believe they started to introduce them at the end of Cold's debut, and Weather Wizard was in episode 2 right? I think the duplicate guy was Mirror Master. So hopefully not too longer for the rest.

It was stated in the show that the duplicate guy was called Multiplex.

I missed and forgot that, still getting into this, one episode a time, but he could've worked as Mirror Master.

Clancy Brown voicing Grodd would be interesting as I thought he was underused as Eiling. Though, I suspect that he'll be back. I almost can't believe that they are using Grodd. Putting someone in a gorilla suit isn't groundbreaking as its been done numerous times in film and television, however it could still come across as hokey considering that he talks and walks upright. I am curious to see how that plays out.

I missed most of the Captain Cold episode, though at the end we see him give the gun to Heat Wave so there's another rogue coming soon. And if you didn't know Heat Wave will be played by Wentworth Miller's Prison Break co-star Dominic Purcell.

Next week is Girder apparently. I don't know that character other than he's a hulking dude made of metal. I believe that Pied Piper is also making an appearance at some point and Captain Boomerang is gonna be on Arrow.

Spoilers somewhat A future version of Barry traveled back to save his mom from Thawne, young Barry saw it, and future Barry got distracted, failed, and was killed. Wells defeats Thawne in an alternate future where these events happen as well, and travels to stop the Thawne from the other timeline, that is in the past, he stated he fought Barry for years. which is why he has the newspaper from the future, and Thawne's suit, and wants to save Barry. Not sure on the voice changer part.
