Voices of Gaming

Not sure if anyone else has liked or even noticed this last week, but there's a brand new web series where video game voice actors flail helplessly at the console trying to get their characters to work, named "Voices of Gaming" which airs every Monday and Wednesday! This web series is currently covering the cast of Super Street Fighter IV as pairs of voice actors are randomly matched up to face off head-to-head.

I think that's a really great idea that should've came to fruition much sooner, but still, it's great to watch, not to mention quite entertaining as well. The sad part is, they're probably better at the game than most of us are (not to mention myself).

The first four matches have aired already:

• Brittney (Sakura) vs. Taliesin (Adon)
• Todd (Yun) vs. Kyle (Ryu)
• Michael (Cody) vs. Kyle (E.Honda)
• Michael (Cody) vs. Jason (Guy)

After seeing those, I'm really excited for the rest of the matchups!

Well, here's the next few matches just to catch up on all the action:

• Taliesin (Blanka) vs. Kat (Ibuki)
• Brittney (Sakura) vs. Kat (Ibuki)
• Brittney (Sakura) vs. Michael (Cody)

Didn't know about this. Started watching some of them last week.

I find Kat Steel and Matthew Mercer to be hilarious. There was even a moment when Matt jokingly stated "That's the last time I get casted in a video game". I hope they do more matches like these, but try to get in more of the cast members (Laura Bailey/Chun Li and Jess Stone/Makoto etc.)

This web series is still in-progress, so most likely they'll definitely get to showcase more voice actors. Myself, I'd really like to see a match between Michelle Ruff (Crimson Viper) and Laura Bailey (Chun-Li). Of course, they shouldn't forget about Travis Willingham (Guile), Reuben Langdon (Ken), or Doug Erholtz (Vega).
