What is Dub This!?

Dub This! is a new interactive voice acting feature that will be launched soon on BTVA. For those familiar with Voice This!, it will be very similar, but instead of recording something for an image, you will now be recording something for a video clip while at the same time, trying to lip sync with the character(s) in the video.

Dubbing in the animation world is most recognized as being associated with anime, where the Japanese dialogue track is replaced with different set of voice actors for any language, but for our sake, it would be English. Not only does require the expected voice acting talent, but the actors also need to match their dialogue with the moving mouths of the characters, best known as lip synching.

Dub This! will allow any BTVA member to record an audio clip, submit it and when the video is played, you will hear that members recording alongside the video, as if it was the original audio track.
You can record anything you want. You can try to record the original dialogue in your own voice, come up with some funny dialgoue, anything! Just keep it family friendly

So get ready, the dubbing challenge is about to come your way!
