How come Kenny James and Scott Burns both play Bowser in Super Mario Galaxy 2

i read the credits and there both credited,did they share the role?

Kenny James has been voicing Bowser since Samantha Kelly has been voicing Peach/Toad/Toadette. He provided the dialogue in that game, and Nintendo simply reused clips of Scott's growling from previous games (since Scott left Nintendo a few years ago).

Hopefully this clears up any confusion regarding the credits.
