"Hellboy" (2004) Live-Action Film - COMPLETED

Here is a couple of facts that should be noted and why both movies should be added to this site:
Abe Sapien is played by Doug Jones, but is voiced by David Hyde Pierce in both films.
Similarily, in the 2nd film, the character Johann Kraus is played by John Alexander, but is voiced by Seth MacFarlane.

Yeah, David Hyde Pierce requested that he not be included in the credits because he wanted to respect Doug Jones' performance.

I do believe DHP didn't return for his role for Abe Sapien in the sequel, having Doug Jones do his voice from then on. Those also include the animated Hellboy films (Sword of Storms, Blood and Iron)

So in a way, you'd still be comparing their voices in regards to the original film (David Hyde Pierce) and the animated (Doug Jones, which still represents the current voice of Abe in the live-action films)

I just remembered that an uncredited (yet totally obvious ;) ) David Hyde Pierce provided the voice acting for Doug Jones physical performance in Hellboy.

Like I said, I guess he's technically uncredited, but it's blatantly obvious that it's him, and numerous sources state so as well.

Yeah, sorry, I wasn't sure. At one point this thread was "completed" and locked, but I noticed that it was no longer locked, so I assumed changes and additions were being made once again. I'll keep that in mind for the future, OptimusSolo. :) Do you want me to make a new thread?

okay, so I'm working on this and cannot for the life of me find any voice credits for some of the characters like Angel Of Death, Chamberlain, and other CG/puppet characters. ARE there any sources that confirm them?

I too have been unable to find VA credits for those characters. They're always listed as Doug Jones, the fella' who portrayed them physically. Maybe he voiced them too? (I can't remember what those characters sound like, I haven't seen the movie in a while...) ;)

Apparently Guillermo del Toro himself provided the voice of the zombie corpse guy in whatever Hellboy movie it was.

But anyway, I can't find any sources either.

hmm, maybe I'll just post all the characters I know off hand (I too haven't seen the movie in a whiel) but for now, the only voice credited character will be Johann Krauss.
