Please tell me I'm not alone in thinking that ALL network commercials, not just CN, are unbearably lame these days. They're literally just clips from the shows. Back in the day, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Kids' WB! all had promos where tons of characters from all the shows would interact with each other using all-new voice clips. Now they're just cheap, minimalist and lazy.

I can't help but laugh at the fact CN has apparently dropped all Anime from its line up now, and the only time the network will air it is during Toonami segments at night: seems they really like Teen Titans Go a LOT since they air it often these days.

Pokemon was supposedly the last Anime on there, and it was there for a decade in the States: now, Disney XD is going to take it alongside Beyblade & Yokai Watch's dubs. It's a double edged sword because on the one hand, CN honestly didn't care about the dub one bit here and shoved it into a 6 AM time slot with maybe 1 ad a year (but considering how bad the Pokemon dub has gotten lately, I can hardly blame them myself for not giving it any attention)...but for fans of it, Disney XD will probably advertise it more & it'll get a better time slot...on the other hand, though, a lot of people only have basic cable & satellite, so this will make it a bit hard for a lot of people to watch it now who don't have that...unless they look it up online, that is.

@WrightWay I agree. Pokémon used to air at, I wanna say, 8:00 AM, then it seems they pushed it back a half hour timeslot every year until it was 6:00 AM, when few adults, let alone kids, are even awake on Saturdays. And they never promoted it as much as Kids' WB! did. I recall there being some specific episode preview commercials in the early DP saga, but nothing after that aside from some movie promos.

Come to think of it, as the years go on, the Pokémon anime's possible viewing audience has shrunken considerably. It was syndicated at first, meaning it was viewable on several channels. Then it moved to Kids' WB!, which was only one network, but still a free channel anyone with an antenna or basic cable could get. Next it went to Cartoon Network, which is cable-only, but still available in all basic packages. Now it's Disney XD, which is much more exclusive.

I specifically remember Double D's "We're not supposed to be on this channel!" when I was watching Nickelodeon.

@solidejake This commercial exists, and it can be found in one of the videos on this playlist (which I recommend watching ALL of): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL494B4512CE8DD73E

@Scrappy-Fan92 There was another a few years later where Numbuh 1 says "I know we're not supposed to be here, but..."

I love seeing all these characters together. Why can't network bumpers be this cool anymore?
