Shadow was created 50 years ago by Professor Gerald as "the Ultimate Life Form". Shadow was originally evil, but has since become something of an ally to Sonic and his friends. He is a very popular character but has something of a divisive fanbase.

David and Jason got their lines epic and perfect. Kirk didn't do it at all because of his voicing and his lines so he's not even close to my favorite.

oh, Jason by a freaking landslide. David was ok, too hammy for my taste, and you will never hear me defend Kirk.

I think Jason was the best because he sounded the best for shadow personality. But I'd MUCH rather have them bring back David than use Kirk.... God Kirk LEARN TO VOICE SHADOW!! "You got this Sonic!" ow my ears they burn!! No offense...

Jason is the perfect Shadow. Kirk's voice is retarded, and Humphrey was good but he was kinda missing Shadow's personality. It would be awesome if SEGA brought back Griffith, if they don't, well, I guess I'll have to keep playing sonic games in japanese.

I miss David Humphrey, the guy had such a unique performance back when Shadow was actually cool. Griffith started out pretty bad, though he did get better later on.
