One of Dr. Eggman's robots. Gamma was at first a loyal servant of Eggman, but when he discovered the things he was being told to do were wrong, he switched sides and turned against Eggman, freeing the animals trapped inside his robot "brothers". Gamma eventually died, freeing the bird inside of him.
