How did Mark Kay do the voice in the movie when she wasn't even born yet?

@pete *Mary Kay

@pete I think it's because she voiced the character in deleted scenes for the DVD set (she was the official voice for 10 years). But yeah, I don't think she should be listed for the film itself.

@PurpleWarrior13 I think that there was some kind of confusing dispute. Adriana Caselotti was brought in to do the voice for a scene that was missing its audio track for a restored version of Snow White, but they hired Mary Kay to do it instead and she only agreed to voice the character when Caselotti was unavailable; and Caselotti didn't know she had been replaced until the 1993 Academy Awards. And Bergman didn't admit to replacing Caselotti while she was alive. That's how sneaky and deceitful Disney can be.

You know what's awesome? A voice actress named Melissa Disney does Snow White's singing voice (as of now i believe)! She's a distant relative of Walt.

Nobody can ever match Adriana Caselotti's vocals, she was a one of a kind. Shame walt disney blacklisted her from everything else, i would have loved to have heard songs from her. She has a small role in the Wizard of Oz where she says Where are thou Romeo.

@Singyousinner Carolyn Gardener sounds close I heard Mary Kay Bergman was close to it also

@Singyousinner At least, that's what she thought the lyric meant. It really means "Why are you Romeo?" It's a famous line that a lot of people get wrong.
