Cobra is the famous antagonist from the Joe Series and leader of the terrorist organization known as Cobra. The voices of the original Starscream and Cobra Commander were at times exactly identical. The main difference was that Latta's Starscream voice was run through a vocoder to produce digital echo effect of the Transformers. Latta's Cobra Commander was raspier and would lisp on the letter 's' to resemble the classic snake sound. During the DiC seasons both Latta and McNeil voiced the Cobra Leader. In both Valor vs Venom and Spy Troops Michael Dobson took on the role. Marc Thompson voiced the character in Sigma Six and Charlie Adler voiced him in Resolute. The latest voice over of the classic villain took place when Joseph Gordon-Levitt worked as Cobra on the Rise of Cobra video game.
