Final Fantasy VII's main character. Cloud is a tough, serious former member of the elite military group SOLDIER with a dark past and a dry wit. As joining SOLDIER is something Cloud has dreamed of since childhood, he considers himself to be the model of what a hero should be, leading his friends in the fight against Shinra and the villainous Sephiroth. However, it soon turns out that the past Cloud speaks of clashes greatly with reality.
