Because it would loose all consistency with the TV series. I want Steph back in the role. Plus she was fired unfairly from what she's told me.

Apparently Colleen is going to be Goku in Blood Rubies. Sucks doesn't it?

I think Stephanie Nadolny was great in the role.
I'm hoping somehow she voiced Goku for the Curse of the Blood Rubies movie.
I know she doesn't work @ Funimation anymore but she still could've done the voice work years ago.
Similar situation while back where Funimation had dubbed the first 13 episodes of Dragon Ball but because of distribution rights couldn't release them on DVD (in the U.S.) until years later.
