Dameon Clark - Really good, but I would have gone with Gregg Berger for his great modern interpetation of Grimlock.
Jennifer Hale - Good, but I would have voted Cree Summer.
Kingdom Hearts - GREAT voice cast, but would have gone with TFOC.

Wow, I wasn't quite expecting my picks to be the Official Winners! But of course, the VG category is the one whose nominees I'm most familiar with. :-P

I'm glad Dave Fennoy was a "People's Choice"! I absolutely loved him in The Walking Dead Game.

Lee didn't win...

Vocal Ensemble was a very tough call for me.

I enjoyed the cast of Kid Icarus the most. So I definitely voted for them. I liked the performances of Bullock, Hillis, Walch and Tatasciore. Not forgetting Anthony Del Rio. However, there were others I thought were worthy of their nominations.

Playstation All-Stars: I'm happy they had managed to get so many role reprisals. Particularly for Nathan Drake, Kratos, Raiden and Sweet Tooth.

Borderlands 2: The guys from Funimation had always made the Borderlands franchise so special. Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack is full of win in my books. But the others gave great performances to such a memorable game too.

Street Fighter x Tekken: There are several new voice interpretations that I enjoy. The voices that are more memorable to me were Brad Swaile's Jin, Jordan Bryne's Kazuya, Chris Cason's Megaman and Dameon Clarke's Rolento. Bonus points for letting Jamieson Price reprise Heihachi Mishima.

If you cried because of TWDG, you should vote for Clem and Lee.

Oh, God... this is a tough one...

A lot of these voice actors I admire a lot! I can't pick one! Well, here are my choices:

Best Male Vocal Performance: Antony Del Rio... hands down.

Best Female Vocal Performance: Ali Hillis... first Lightning now Palutena... AWESOME!

Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game: I'm sorry, but I'm honestly gonna go with Kid Icarus: Uprsing because this game earned its place in Nintendo and regained its popularity after 25 years of waiting for Pit to come around again! XD

*Best Male Vocal Performance in a Video Game: Like I've said before in the General section of the Awards, Antony Del Rio was amazing as Pit, it's easily his claim-to-fame (at least thus far). Liam O'Brien has a great voice for Caius Ballad, he really sells his angst and looming presence, you almost sympathize with the character. S Scott Bullock gives quite a performance, he's entertaining to listen to, and sounds like he's enjoying his role.

Nonetheless, I'd have to side with the Spike VGA's top choice and give this one to Dameon Clarke. He's very interesting to listen to, and puts a lot of passion into his performance. Also, it's a surprise to hear him voice in a video game, considering that he's hardly had many voice-acting roles since he left FUNimation in 2006. Still, his performance as Handsome Jack proves that he's still got it and remains a top contender in the business.

*Best Female Vocal Performance in a Video Game: I really like Michelle Ruff as Jill, I wish Capcom would let her hang onto the role (instead of recasting her in every other frickin' game...). Jen Taylor gives a solid performance, continuing her great work since the dawn of the critically-acclaimed Halo series of video games. Ali Hillis did very well as Palutena, I'm confident she'd get even more to work with in the future.

However, this one is probably the most obvious choice out all the categories in the BTVA Awards, as Jennifer Hale absolutely crushes the competition here! Her FemShep is easily one of her greatest roles, she has a voice more powerful than any entire alien invasion in fiction. It's almost an absolute shame that over 80% of all Mass Effect 3 players choose the male Shepard. :(

*Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game: Not just limited to both Dameon and Jennifer, both Borderlands 2 and Mass Effect 3 have two of the best voice casts in a video game. Kid Icarus is just perfect all-around as well, and Kingdom Hearts had some great performances too. I have to give mad props to PS All-Stars too, as unlike most fighting games, they actually put EFFORT into bringing back all of the original and/or current voices (here's looking at you, Capcom).

Handsome Jack All The Way!

When I ultimately hate a villain, that's when I know the actor wins my vote.

@john lao zabi @john lao zabi Believe us, there were plenty of VAs who were considered for these categories - this wasn't an easy list to make. :) Some made it, some didn't.

@john lao zabi She was a nominee for the Anime Dub Awards, which just ended a few weeks ago. Of course, she's done some non-anime work, but not nearly as much as most of the others above.

I strongly disagree with some of the nominees in the male category. Both Michael Mando as Vaas and Michael Wincott as Death deserved nominations. I'd probably go with Mando if he were there, but I voted for Dameon Clark instead. He was in my top four, but not my first choice.

@Fuzunga Both Wincotts and Mandos performances were considered amongst the nominees for this category but they lost out to those we have listed here.

Best male performance: Each one did an amazing job but only one brought me to tears, Dave as Lee. His gruff deep voice was fatherly but can go tough and the last scene of the game...only time I cried after beating a game. (Though I still wish Death from Darkisders was one here...)

Best female performance: Again all were good (except for Tara who I thought played a f**king annoying character) but I'm gonna go with Melissa as Clem Clem. She sounded cute and young without over doing it and you really were attached to her character which in some video games a child can be annoying (I mean look at Duck in the game).

For best cast, look at my comment below

Tough choices all good voice actors. For Male voice: Fred Tatascoire, female: Michelle Ruff

For best cast list I think it's worth mentioning that Darksiders is the one with the most clips.
Just sayin'

Jeniffer Hale was an obvious choice. She is a legend and thanks to her interpretation of Commander I became really aware of voice actresses and actors in games for first time in my life. I have been following more and more of them since then :).
It's a shame she hasn't received any BAFTA yet :(.

Best vocal ensemble is no brainer, ME3. Male VA is a tough nut since I haven't played almost a single game in that list. I gotta to be responsible and gather some material first :).

@NCZ I know but it feels insufficient to cast my vote based on 30 seconds long sample. Thanks

Ouch, and the typo was bound to happen - I meant "Jennifer", of course.

Here are my picks:

Male: Dameon Clarke - I haven't played Borderlands 2, or even the first Borderlands, but Dameon is just a natural at playing this guy. His voice and inflections all sound natural and it's a performance that's new, at least for me.

Female: Ali Hillis - I'd never heard her do a voice like Palutena's before, and it's nice to know she can pull of voices like Palutena's. She's quickly becoming one of my favorite voice actresses.

Ensemble: Mass Effect 3 - Now, of the list, I've only played Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, but I've seen the cast lists for everyone else, and Mass Effect 3 seems to have the cast where most, if not all, of the characters have very fitting voices behind them.
said at 4:05 PM on Mon Apr 22 2013
Gregg Berger, Jennifer Hale and Mass Effect 3.

I mainly went for Berger since Fall Of Cybertron was the only game in his category I've played. As for best cast, based on my criteria of number of recognised cast, the roles they've played and how much I enjoy said voices, it should have been Epic Mickey. However, I haven't played that, so I went for Mass Effect.

Gregg Berger all the way!!
said at 3:28 PM on Mon Apr 22 2013
For males, S. Scott Bullock's portrayal as Hades is a real winner in my book. Honorable mentions are Gregg Berger as Grimlock and Fred Tatasciore as Megatron.

For females, I'm going to vote for Ali Hillis as Palutena. She did an excellent job voicing that character.
said at 3:14 PM on Mon Apr 22 2013
For best male VG voice, I've narrowed it down to the four in the leftmost column.
said at 2:33 PM on Mon Apr 22 2013
I had to go with Antonio Del Rio in the male section. The female section was sooo difficult! I was stuck between Alli Hillis, Kate Higgins and Melissa Hutchinson but in the end i had to go with Kate Higgins since she's an inspiration to me! I went with kid Icarus Uprising as the best voice actors because it truly blew me away the first time i played it!
said at 2:06 PM on Mon Apr 22 2013
Dameon Clarke for males, though I also really like Dave Fennoy, Fred Tatasciore, and Liam O'Brien.
Cree Summer for females, though all of them were great.
For games... I don't know yet; I'm torn between Borderlands 2, Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Fall of Cybertron.

As much as I would've loved to vote Liam O'Brien, I just have to admit that Dameon Clarke made me laugh SO hard as Handsome Jack, I just HAD to vote for him. xD Also a very hard choice between female voices... but I'm sorry Jennifer Hale, but Clem made me cry.

said at 11:55 PM on Sun Apr 21 2013
Wow!!! The hardest choices in best female vocals. But I had to go with Clementine in The Walking Dead game.

Aw no Micheal as Death from Darksiders :(
said at 11:19 PM on Sun Apr 21 2013
I'm a little bummed Jason Marsden or any of the Darksiders II cast weren't picked, but eh, this isn't my list.

On both the male and female side, most of them did a pretty great job. On the male side, I thought Dave Fennoy, Dameon Clarke and Fred Tatascoire stood out the most. On the female side, Jen Taylor, Jennifer Hale, and Melissa Hutchison.

For ensemble, Kid Icarus, Darksiders II, Xenoblade (REYN TIME! lol) and Transformers were pretty cool. I haven't played Borderlands 2 yet or any of the Mass Effect games (I just saw clips of Dameon Clarke's performance), though they seem pretty solid too.
