Besides showing the official winner, I'm curious if there's any final numbers/tally? Thank you!

@ThunderCatsForever Let me answer this by posing the following questions. Do the Emmy's reveal the vote totals? How about the Oscars? Heck, does American Idol even reveal the actual numbers? ;)

In other words, no we will not be showing the final numbers but thanks for asking because I am sure others were wondering as well :)

I'm a little disappointed June Foray didn't win anything. Overall though, the people's and Official choices are pretty fair.

@That_One_Guy Thanks! And honestly just to be nominated meant that enough people supported the work and she did receive a lot of love from those that voted just for the record.

Wow. I agreed with everyone of the people's choice, even the ones that weren't related to MLP.

How are the Actors/Actresses informed that they won? An email? A text message? A letter in the mail? Just curious...

@Weim_Time Mainly via word of mouth (aka Twitter/Facebook etc). We have attempted to notify as many as we can but in the end we have to rely on you the fans until we can expand these awards in the future.

@Pete drul

We are far from unknown haha. Maybe you should check out the link below so you can see that we are definitely known among professional Voice Actors. If you are commenting on the 'people's choice' winners those were strictly voted on by the fans. If you are commenting on the 'official winners' then I am sorry you don't agree with our choices but each of them (even the ones I didn't vote for) are VERY deserving. Thanks for your constructive comment though!

All of these TV shows have amazing voice casts, but none of them even compare to that of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! How on Earth could any of you have neglected that?
NCZ (Admin)
said at 8:00 PM on Thu Mar 29 2012
@pokemastanumba1 It's not that the Avengers has a bad cast, it's simply that we, as a team, decided that these five shows had the best vocal casts.
said at 1:35 PM on Sat Mar 31 2012
@NCZ I know for sure that TAEMH is one of, if not the best animated production throughout 2011. Futurama, much like the Pokémon anime, has gone way downhill and probably won't regain its old popularity (which is why I stopped watching the new episodes a long time ago). The Looney Tunes Show is a great homage to the original Warner Bros. productions, but its style and characterizations can become quite a bit out-of-place sometimes. And while I really like Young Justice, it doesn't remain faithful to its respective comics like TAEMH.

I haven't seen either G.I. Joe: Renegades or Star Wars: The Clone Wars (never been a fan of their corresponding franchises), so I can't form an opinion on them.
NCZ (Admin)
said at 5:48 PM on Sat Mar 31 2012
@pokemastanumba1 These comments you're making seem to be about the shows themselves. We're not considering the quality of the shows, but the quality of their voice acting as a whole.

For instance, even if you think Futurama has gone downhill, it's still produced some stellar episodes (many would say that "The Late Philip J. Fry" is among the best in the series) and we felt the voice acting is as strong as ever. Therefore, it definitely deserves its place. Obviously, since we limit things to five, some shows will be snubbed, but there's not much we can do about that. Avengers is still going on this year, so it can have a shot at the next awards.

@OptimusSolo I'm gonna take a stab and guess that those three were H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, and Jessica Walter.

Those three are at least the standouts for me, especially Walter. She could say ANYTHING and I will be in stitches.

My two cents:

Bob Bergen for Best Male Lead. While the show does divide people, most everyone can agree that his Porky is so hilariously pathetic that he is the highlight of the entire show.

Nancy Cartwright for Best Female Lead. As Bart, she handles both comedy and genuine drama with aplomb that is hard to match.

Corey Burton for Best Male Supporting. Leave it to him to make us realize how much of a missed opportunity that Count Dooku was in the prequel trilogy. Sophisticated and truly menacing.

Kristen Wiig for Best Female Supporting. She took a character that I hated and made her into one that I genuinely enjoy.

John de Lancie for Best Guest Appearance. Completely charismatic, hilarious, and with the perfect hint of menace, it's no wonder that the character of Discord is among the most popular in recent memory.

Billy and Frank have been those characters for so long that I'm getting tired of hearing them. Bob, I blame Looney Toons Show's bad writing for me not not liking his performance as much. While I try to set aside me not liking that portrayal of Starscream I do think it's a nice range of emotion. However Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime will always have that dramatic and kindness feel that makes you know he's strong yet caring. Peter gets my vote.

I'd like to request some VA sample dialoge clips linked here. It's difficult to find episodes that have many lines from the VAs of the shows I do not follow.

Preferably links to youtube, or other html5 video sites.
-Thanks in advance.

That's a pity. :/ How about adding links to the VA samples that's supposed to be VAs image gallery? I've not been able to find any audio links there.

D: Or is it adobe flash-only? I don't have that.
NCZ (Admin)
said at 3:31 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@jfx Are you requesting that we have sound clips period? Because every single character has a sound clip attached to them. Yes, you will need Flash.
said at 6:41 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
(I suspected that was the reason I could not find them. )

A showreel with highlights & dialogue from the show(s) they are nominated for would be nice. Sound only is not what make a good VA.

I've been trying find them on youtube and found much of what I was looking for but still far from all. It's also rather time-consuming. But doing that is probably too big task for you to manage with the no-link policy. (Kinda internet-hostile i.m.o.)
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 7:08 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@jfx I understand your request but this process already took countless hours to prepare for the public, doing what you are suggesting would take a TON more time. We have 125 different nominees we would have to make videos for. Also, as a site we do not do video for anything at this point. We focus on images and soundclips.

Okay, so I've caught up with all the comments on this page and first of all, I thank EVERYONE for their support.

To the Pony's fans, it's great that you're showing your support for the show you love. But to attack us for not including MLP in more categories is simply unfair.
Think about every awards show out there. Do they include everyone's favorites? No. That's impossible.

Think about how much you love MLP. Well, other people love other shows just as much. Do you guys love other shows? What roles from other shows that you think you should be nominated?
said at 8:28 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Foxwolf I agree with you 100% Fox, I'm sure there were a LOT of contenders and I think it is great that MLP was considered. I know from the outside looking in some may not even consider the show for review. On an unrelated note, Amaterasu is awesome.
said at 11:24 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Foxwolf While I obviously love MLP (what gave it away, my username?) I will say that when up against Futurama, I would have picked Futurama even if MLP was nominated. Seriously Katey Sagal is an amazing actress and singer. And I've been a fan of Billy West since Ren and Stimpy. And John DiMaggio steals the show as Bender. So no hard feelings from this brony, Foxwolf.
said at 8:06 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I too came from Equestria Daily... man Nancy Cartwright has done such an incredible job for so long. I'm voting for John De Lancie as Discord though. lol
said at 8:06 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I cast my votes for John and Andrea (but only after listening to the convenient audio clips provided, so that the other nominees had a fair chance), but after reading the comments from the site's admins I was left with a particularly bad taste in my mouth.

Several comments were made asking why MLP:FiM wasn't nominated for best vocal cast, and the official response from the admins seems to boil down to "Well, we're the ones who pick the nominees, and we don't like MLP as much as these other shows." That reasoning would make sense if this were a committee-chosen award like the Oscars, but this is supposed to be a people's choice award ceremony. And with so many people protesting MLP's absence in the best vocal cast category, it seems obvious what the people's choice really is. Nevertheless, the admins have responded to each comment questioning the lack of MLP in that category with "MLP isn't nominated because it doesn't deserve to be nominated compared to the other nominees."

Here's a direct quote from OptimusSolo, one of the admins of the site:
"Wow, guys we understand that you are all DIE-HARD MLP fans but this isn't about your who your favorites are. This is about who had the actual best performances/casts etc. The fact that you guys are just voting for MLP any chance you have proves that you are not looking at this objectively!"

He makes the blind assumption that the actors in MLP:FiM are getting so many votes because of rabid fanboyism without even considering the possibility that those actors received their large vote totals based on the virtue of their quality voice acting. Considering he posted his own votes in the very first comment on the page (hint: He did not vote for John de Lancie), it seems apparent that he finds it impossible for anyone to objectively disagree with his opinions.

One of the more recent comments here mentions that the admins are now banning any accounts that call the admins out on their unprofessionalism, regardless of how politely or inoffensively you frame the observation. It's a shame, really...
said at 8:17 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@baconpie That and the comments / responses which can actually make them look bad seem to be disappearing at this stage.

But you're exactly right there. They've also been assuming people were mad about things they didn't say. I was more complaining about blatantly saying that their opinions were better than those of other people, not that they didn't like the show. That and the painting of everyone with one brush.
Foxwolf (Admin)
said at 8:17 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@baconpie again, people are misunderstanding. EVERY show that aired last year was on our list. And our team (which consists of a few MLP fans) voted on what we thought was the best. MLP didn't get enough votes for ensemble cast. Simply that.

As for the People's Choice part. It's the People's Choice from our list of nominees. Not our community choosing those nominees from the beginning like some other awards do.

As for the banning, I wasn't around when that happened so I won't comment. I will however say that we do remove comments that are rude/disrespectful towards Admins and other members.
If you look at all other parts of our site, we are a very laid back and friendly community.

People talk about being allowed to have their own opinions. I respect that many people love MLP and I hope people can respect that we made our nominees list based on our opinions.
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 8:28 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@baconpie It is unfortunate that my comments have been misinterpreted the way that they have.

I have said this before but let me say it one final time:

#1: I LIKE My Little Pony - I have a dozen original ponies in the other room and I think the new show is incredible.

#2: WE like My Little Pony - Otherwise why would we have nominated so many performances from the show?

#3: We considered MLP for the Ensemble cast. It even made our top 10 or 8 even, it just didn't quite make the cut

#4: I have not said anyone opinions are wrong. All I ever said was that I hoped the votes were being made with a fair shake given to the other nominees. After that feel free to vote for whoever you want and I have no problem with it.

#5: This awards is NOT ONLY a "Peoples Choice". The official winners are NOT voted on by the people. We came up with our final list of 5 nominees for each of the 25 categories. From that list the official winner will be chosen. ALSO from that list we are allowing people to vote on who they think should win.

I think some people's misunderstandings stem from them thinking all of this is for the People's choice when that is more the 'secondary' aspect of the awards.

#6: Comments only have been deleted that were deemed disrespectful, rude, flaming, or offensive REGARDLESS of who made them (hence why some of our comments have also been deleted)

#7: Also NO ONE is currently banned from the site for anything in relation to these awards and or comments.

@Orwell we did indeed remove a bunch of comments/threads that were disrespectful/attacking from BOTH sides. It's a shame something fun had to turn into something ugly. And we're not hiding anything. I will say upfront we did ban someone, but not intentionally, and we remedied the matter. I'm just sad that a handful of you have had a sour experience visiting our site and I personally apologize for that.

On a side note, it would be nice if hardcore fans of ANY show could be as open-minded and understandable as our member Bond who made the following comment below.

"Kudos to BTVA for recognizing the voice talents of the MLP cast. You don't usually see other sites or articles nominating them for their roles on that show or at all for that matter."
said at 8:32 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Foxwolf You seem to be a very with it guy, so it's not really the lack of ponies that people are really bothered about, they may be happy, but they aren't particularly bothered. We're (or at least, I'm assuming we're) more bothered with the blanket accusations of voting as a popularity contest, instead of based on merits. Especially as Admins, while having opinions, are also supposed to be fair and neutral. This, along with the banning / deleting of comments of people who are against this, no matter whether they were offensive or not, seems a little underhanded (for lack of a better term), which is why we're (possibly I'm) upset.
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 8:35 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Orwell I assure you there was nothing 'underhanded' about it. What you may not understand is that in a string of comment threads its impossible to save some comments if the first comment is deleted on top of other things.

The only comments that were deleted had definite offensive or inappropriate wording in them or wording that was being misinterpreted by the general public. Comments from admins were deleted alongside comments from regular visitors so there was no 'agenda' being followed through with. I'm sorry if you feel there was.
said at 8:38 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@OptimusSolo There were 2. One was just saying that if you said anything against the admins, your account would be banned, which was both true and has been told to me by admins anyway, and the other was the one which just said that it seemed a little unprofessional. That isn't "definite offensive or inappropriate wording".
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 8:43 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Orwell The first one is not true and that is why it was deleted. We don't ban people just because they say stuff contrary to our opinions. That action was an anomaly and was immediately corrected. So in essence the statement was an inaccurate portrayal on how we do things here and thus deleted.

As for the unprofessional comment, the way it was worded was deemed as being disrespectful to the admin team. I realize you are new to the site and might not feel the need for us to be 'respected' but those who have been at the site long term know how many hours we bust our tails to provide great content to Voice Acting fans everywhere. So, that is why it was deleted. I apologize if you feel these reasons aren't good enough but we have been adhering to these guidelines for years.
Foxwolf (Admin)
said at 8:46 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Orwell and being upset is what you should be. I would be too. I can't defend the action that occurred and we undid it so I can only hope that can be put behind us.

as for the comments, as mentioned, if the first comment is blocked, then all the child comments are automatically blocked, since they rely on the first comment. there's nothing we can do about that.
said at 8:49 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@OptimusSolo Well then I guess agreeing to disagree is the only way through this. But I know that many people have the same feelings as me on how the matter was handled, and as such the site will have lost multiple potential and actual members. If I don't agree with how the site is run, I'll leave, as obviously this is how.
said at 8:53 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Foxwolf I totally understand that the list of nominees was narrowed down from a much larger list by your team of admins (and perhaps others?). But the issue here is that with so many people all making the same request in these comments (that is, to add MLP to the Best Vocal Cast nominees), I don't see what harm there is in fulfilling that request. If one of the original 5 nominees truly deserves the People's Choice award, it will win regardless of how many other nominees there are. And if MLP wins the award after the other 5 shows had a head start on getting votes, then it truly was worthy of the Nomination/Award after all.

You say that "we do remove comments that are rude/disrespectful towards Admins and other members." But a lot of the comments that were removed weren't rude/disrespectful at all. Orwell, for example, made a comment stating that the admins were removing comments that called the admins "unprofessional". That's not him calling the admins unprofessional, that's him saying that calling the admins unprofessional might get you moderated/banned. It's a statement of fact. That comment was deleted. Throughout this page's comment section you can find not only examples of OptimusSolo replying to comments that have since been deleted (most of which I read before they were deleted, and none of which I would find offensive), but other users replying to comments made by OptimusSolo that have since been redacted (comments which, while still unoffensive, might have painted him in a bad light).

I can totally respect the opinions of the admin staff here. I'm a grown man who watches a cartoon show about ponies, so respecting opinions is something I wish all people did. I don't think this whole hoopla was really about "admins' opinions vs. brony opinions". I think it was more about the lack of transparency in the nomination process, along with the unfair accusation of blind fanboyism in the voting made by one of your admins (and the subsequent coverup of the resulting backlash in these comments). Either way, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing courtesy and poise in your reply, and I can't wait until April to see the results (wait, results on April Fool's Day? O_o)!
NCZ (Admin)
said at 8:55 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Orwell I do apologize for banning you. I will admit that it was unprofessional and impulsive of me. However, I'm not the only one at fault here. The user was constantly disrespecting the team, accusing them of acting unprofessional, and generally being confrontational. I did it more out of self-defense because I didn't want comments like that to continue being made, not out of spite. Was it wrong of me to do so right away without any input from the other team members? Yes. Was it wrong of that user to make such rude comments in the first place? Yes.

It doesn't matter now. It's all in the past. I've made up for it and will ensure that such a thing never happens again. So... can we be friends here?
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 9:01 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@baconpie A well thought out statement for sure and I respect that.

Let me try to explain why MLP can't be added in.

The Official Winners of the awards and The Peoples Choice winners are two separate things.

We came up with the official 5 nominees based on our very detailed process (that took 2.5 months for us to get through). From these nominees the Official Winners will be chosen.

We wanted to allow for some fan interaction etc. So, from that same list of 5 nominees we allowed you to vote for a People's Choice.

Then both the official winners and the people's choice winners will be revealed side by side come April.

It just wasn't feasible to let the people come up with a whole separate list of nominees from a logistic standpoint.

Also, I understand you think we are 'covering up' things but that simply isn't the case.

I hope there are no hard feelings as I still maintain I never was saying anyone opinions were of less value than my own. It is always unfortunate when through 'text' ones comments can be misinterpreted or taken out of context but such is life.

@baconpie thanks for your indepth post. as I said to Orwell, I'm sad that these events occurred for something that should've just been fun.
And as I said earlier, the reason why non-disrespectful comments are gone is they were part of comment threads where the 1st comment was blocked. This makes all child comments blocked since they rely on the 1st comment.

I don't visit a lot of other sites but the ones I've seen who have "awards" of their own don't often have "People's Choice". They just have their own "Official Site Choice". We added because we wanted the community to be part of it.

As for the results on April 1st, don't worry, only Anime will be announced on that day. Other sections will be announced each following day.

Oh, and the list was decided from Admins, Top Mods and Mods.

I hate to vote for somebody other than the great Tara Strong, but Andrea Libman's performance as Pinkie Pie is just impressive.

Also, it's hard to believe June Foray's still voicing Granny. And she's still good at it!

@nerdyguy Agreed! Foray is amazing!!

A bunch of the sample clips aren't from the current seasons, I'm thinking of Maurice LaMarche's in particular. If it's not just a general popularity contest it would be good to have more recent samples.

@Kris2000 We apologize for this. The reason this happened was because they are drawn from the regular parts of our site where sound clips may already have been attached to characters. We actually went through and replace dozens of them with clips from 2011 (see Fry from Futurama for example) so if we missed a couple I am sorry. It was a lot of work to put this all together though so hopefully you will forgive us.

MLP:FiM easily wins the Ensemble Cast category. What gives? And Tabitha St Germaine is freaking amazing, but she's not nominated for... anything.

@Austin Yun She was actually one of our finalists for Female Voice Actor of the Year

@anarsstt24 We did not forget about Tabitha. In fact, we definitely considered her as a nominee.

Hate to see my fellow bronies causing trouble. I tried to be objective while voting. Qui-Gon did a damn fine job, but I really liked Discord's performance better.
said at 6:25 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Dagda Mor Yeah, I picked Tara's voice for Timmy over Andrea's voice for Pinkie because I had no idea he was voiced by a girl. I gotta give credit to acting skill like that.
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 6:56 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Dagda Mor Its no trouble, I just think our comments were misinterpreted. We don't dislike MLP in any way (hence why we nominated so many things from it)

Its just typical of a lot of fandoms unfortunately that they can be very defensive when they 'think' someone is saying something bad about what they love.

No harm no foul!

For everyone who is considered as to why this person or that show is not listed above:

Please realize that countless hours were spent and HUNDRED of shows, voice actors and performances were debated, discussed and voted on in this process. In the end some REALLY tough choices had to be made in narrowing down our final five nominees.

Now even though you cannot decide who the official winners will be we very much wanted to give you the chance to have your voice heard through the 'people's choice' portion of these awards.

We respect all of your opinions and you are allowed to vote for ANYONE you would like.

Some of you have misinterpreted some of our comments and attacked us as being unprofessional or disrespectful and this was unwarranted. Would we prefer if you objectively listened and analyzed EVERY nominee before casting your vote...of course! We realize that some subjectivity is unavoidable though and if in the end you think every single Transformers related nominee or Star Wars related nominee or My Little Pony nominee truly deserves to be voted for then by all means vote accordingly.

Please do not mistake our comments for saying we don't like this show or that show. Remember WE are the ones that decided they deserved to be nominated in the first place!!

That being said enjoy voting and be sure to come back in April when the winners begin to be revealed :)

Well, I wrote a comment on another page before I noticed the main discussion was happeningen here. I'll give you all the short version:

I did listen to some of the other clips, but pony actors still won in the end. Why? Because I think they were the best actors. So sad for you if you don't agree with me.

And I too am dissapointed not to see FiM on Best Vocal Cast. I mean, Clone Wars? Really? Well, that's the opinion of whoever made the poll, I guess. I respect that. And I'm going to end this post before I start whining about it. I'm better than that. Or damn, did I just start whining?

@Cizak Hey man, don't sweat it! You are entitled to your opinions! I am curious though have you listened to the voice clips provided for the Clone Wars characters? What about them don't you like or is unimpressive?
said at 5:48 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@OptimusSolo I actually voted to Liam Neeson just to balance out against the sheer amount of bronies (I as well am one but that's beside the point) and because Neeson has a longer, more respectable acting career. However, if it boiled down to voice acting for a cartoon I"m afraid that John De Lancie just has more depth to his vocalizations.

@tidalkraken I don't disagree with that. To me the Guest category is the hardest one out of ALL 25 categories. I appreciate every single performance in there!

Larry Kenney was awesome as Claudus, John Noble shocked me as Unicron and really delivered a menacing performance. And of course I have a soft spot for the legendary Michael Bell!

Don't think I am discounting John De Lancie, I LOVE him. I just interviewed him a few weeks ago actually.

Guys, I'd just like you to know that we actually DID consider Friendship is Magic as a nominee for "best ensemble cast". We had a lot of other shows too, but ultimately we decided that these five were the best.

So it didn't make it, but at least you'd be glad to know that we WERE aware of it.

Why Friendship is Magic is not included in Best Vocal Cast in a television series? I'm from Ukraine but I can't stop enjoying how great original English voices are so I always watch it in original with either English or fan-made Russian subtitles just for that. Any dubbing in other languages is never able to compare to the outstanding original VAs.
said at 6:43 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012

Wow ponies are so bad compared to those shows? Ok, maybe I'll try to listen how voices sound in Futurama never watched cuz I didn't like the style of animation.

I might be a pony fanatic, but this isn't a popularity contest, its one for who is the best. Period. That may not automatically mean 'VOTE PONY' but to vote whoever you think has the best voice acting skills, pony or otherwise.

Uhh... I'm allowed to vote for Andrea Libman on the strength of her voice work as Fluttershy as opposed to Pinkie-Pie, right? They're both characters from the same show.

Wow, guys we understand that you are all DIE-HARD MLP fans but this isn't about your who your favorites are. This is about who had the actual best performances/casts etc. The fact that you guys are just voting for MLP any chance you have proves that you are not looking at this objectively!
said at 3:57 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012

I've heard most of the characters here. Hear us out, or at least me, personally...

Most of us do know most of the characters here. One of the biggest reasons we love MLP:FiM is because we LOVE the voice actors and the amazing job they do! Not all the characters are beating all of the ones here, but I really do the ones we have to choose from are superior. Especially John de Lancie. I gave the characters I wasn't familiar with a little listening-to with the handy voice clips we have here, and I was still a bit on the fence in the "best female lead vocal performance". Just had to go with Pinkie, because acting while talking so fast is fairly rare! and then, well done!
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 4:02 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Donut64 That's fine and at least you are listening to the sound clips and giving some people a chance but I guarantee that there are a lot of people just blindly voting for anything that has connections to MLP -

(GI Joe Renegades aside because I don't think it warranted a nomination) For those complaining about ensemble casts - there is just no way MLP compares to Futurama, Clone Wars or Looney Tunes!!

It's a toss-up between Futurama and FiM for me... Tabitha and Ashleigh add a lot to the picture. But Fry and Bender... ... .. AUGH, I do wish I at least had the option.

@lotusblossom Actually I have seen the show multiple times and I think its a very good show. I am even the one who initially created the page for it you see in our TV Show Section. I didn't say you couldn't vote for who you wanted I just simply expressed a desire that everyone give ALL nominees a fair chance and be objective. Some of you are doing just that and that is very respectable. Some of you are not and that is disappointing. No flame war being started and don't worry I know darn well that I am pretty much an excellent admin ;)

@BagelyBagels Oh don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is unique to the MLP Fandom. I have been a part of MANY fandoms over the years and I know its present in most fandoms. I guess I just wasn't prepared for how defensive everyone was going to get when I suggested objectivity and the attacks against me personally have been unwarranted big time. I never said anything meant to bash the MLP fandom in anyway I AM A PART OF IT!!! I HAVE MLP dolls IN THE OTHER ROOM!!

Do you see how all of the assumptions about me being unprofessional and disrespectful are really rather silly??
OptimusSolo (Admin)

@BagelyBagels Worked up really isn't the right word, more just surprised and humored by it. Maybe it would be different if I actually disliked the show but since I like it it just boggles my mind how quickly people were to 'assume' things and attack me for it. Its all good though man I appreciate your comments and hopefully the MLP Fandom can realize that they were incorrect in assuming we were 'bashing them' or 'disrespecting' them in any way since we in no way were :)

Why is Tara Strong's voice role nominee Timmy? I'm pretty sure they haven't had a new Fairly Oddparents episode all year, and if My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic isn't best vocal cast, I'll have to go with Futurama.

Best Vocal CAST on a TV series and you don't nominate Friendship is Magic who has Tabitha St. Germain, Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Claire Colett, Andrea Libman, Cathy Weselock and so many amazing VA's that have graced this show like the one and only Q/Discord John De Lancy.

Sorry but I cast my vote in that category to MLP: FiM. But just to humor the list I'd vote Futurama.

@ZeroRyoko I've seen the show and in my opinion, I've heard MUCH better voice acting. Look at Futurama. I feel the actors in that show play off each other brilliantly, plus they're all very talented people. My Little Pony's voicework is decent, but it's never blown me away.

@lotusblossom You are a huge fan of making assumptions arent you?? I actually have seen the show and very much appreciate it and like it. I was the one who nominated Clarie Corlett and Michelle Creber during the whole process. You do understand that WE are the ones that nominated them and felt they were worthy of it right? My favorites aren't losing. I don't really have any favorites outside of a few performances.
said at 7:10 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@NCZ With a due respect. I do feel it has a better voice cast, than say something like Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Does that mean it should win, or that Clone Wars is inferior? No. But I do feel the cast is strong enough to at least be mentioned. (On that same token, I do want other shows to stand a chance, being a brony myself, I know just how... compulsive some of us can be.)

I was really torn between Andrea Libman and Tara Strong, but since I like Pinkie's voice more than Timmy and that's who they were nominated for, I had to go with Libman. I generally like Strong's voices more, too. : /

For female support role I was really torn too. Very nice voices all around. But then I remembered Nika Futterman also did Olga in Hey Arnold. Have my vote Futterman. Have ALL my votes.

Tara Strong, for her amazing voice acting over a wide range of characters, and also due to the fact that Twilight Sparkle is best pony. John de Lancie's voice is amazing and filled Discord's role perfectly. He gets my vote as well.

A tough choice for Recurring Male but I voted for Corey Burton as Dooku.

Recurring female is a no doubter in my mind for Barbara Goodson.

For Guest Role I went with Larry Kenney and for Ensemble cast I voted for the Clone Wars.
