@partymonster411 Probably mostly for her other roles like The Little Engine who was the lead role in that movie!

Why is there no picture for Claire Corlett? She's really active on youtube and it doesn't seem like it'd be particularly hard to get a picture of her.

Might not be very high quality, but it'd be better than the question mark she has now.

As for the voting, I didn't vote because the only real animated shows I watch is MLP, and I didn't feel my voting would really reflect the skill of the actors.

I might start watching Transformers, though. Hasbro sure is churning out good shows with their IP.

@windtitan Her father Ian Corlett requested that we don't use a photo.
said at 11:04 AM on Sat Apr 7 2012
@NCZ Fair enough. Well, it's alright. Anyone who wants to see her can just hop on youtube.
said at 10:53 PM on Fri Apr 6 2012
I'll say it again: Frank Welker does a great job as Garfield's voice, but the quality of the actual Garfield show isn't great, especially in the writing and animation.

@Dogman15 Well, luckily for him these awards have nothing to do with the quality of the show but simply the quality of the actual voice acting.
said at 3:56 AM on Fri Apr 6 2012
Oh man, very difficult to say which voice actor is the best. I would probably go with Kevin Micheal Richardson or Steve Blum. For the actresses I'm going with Laura Bailey with Grey Delisle at a close second.
said at 8:04 AM on Thu Apr 5 2012
Yes Laura Bailey won!!!!

Tom Kenny for Male Voice Actor of the Year. I would give this to him for Ice King alone, but Spongebob and Rabbit make this an easy choice.

Jennifer Hale for Female Voice Actor of the Year. She is the reason that I insist that Commander Shepard should be female. A performance that you can really invest yourself in.

Ashleigh Ball for Breakthrough Voice Actor of the Year. Truly an impressive range. I look forward to hearing her in many more things.

Jeremy Shada for Best Vocal Performance by a Child. Finn is easily one of the most endearing animated characters in recent memory. This kid is why.

Bill Farmer for Best Vocal Interpretation of an Established Character. This was the hardest for me to chose, as Grey Delisle is every bit as good. I just feel that Goofy is more iconic, so my vote goes to him.

femal obviously Jennifer Hale close second Tara Strong tho
said at 2:21 AM on Thu Mar 22 2012
Ugh its so hard to choose Female of the year
said at 1:24 AM on Thu Mar 22 2012
Nolan North was probably the easiest pick (for me anyway) out of all categories. The others not so much.
said at 9:13 PM on Wed Mar 28 2012
@SparklyShake12 I couldn't agree more.
said at 2:36 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
Meh, at least michelle creber was an easy pick shadas character could easily be his usual voice.. michelle has that accent to deal with too..
said at 11:53 PM on Fri Apr 6 2012
@Fiskbollen I agree, on further reflection.
said at 2:10 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
I seriously hadn't heard any of the child VA's, but after listening to them all, Creber and shada were both on top.. Had to go for michelle after listening to some interview on youtube. She's awesome
said at 10:32 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
Michelle Creber's really talented, she voiced Apple Bloom and provides Sweetie Belle's singing voice, so I'll have to vote for her.
said at 8:42 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
I think it will be hard for alot of these to win... because some of them play pony voice actor parts...
And this seems preeettyyy popular with Bronies...
VOTE FOR ALL THE PONIES (but I voted for Finn because im not biased :3 )
said at 8:20 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
Steve Blum! simply because he's in almost all the games I play and all the anime I watch.
said at 3:28 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
Bill Farmer all the way!!!!
said at 1:52 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
NOOO Brina Palencia?? I get the feeling this is just for American stuff.
NCZ (Admin)
said at 10:39 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@Slacker There's a section for anime. Brina Palencia didn't get nominated, but we did consider her.
said at 1:05 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
the child va's had to be the hardest xD haha but I had to go with Jeremy, Fin has to be a difficult role to play, unfortunately I know just because bronies the other child va's wil probably score.. -_-
said at 1:41 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@Dark_Serenity You make it sound like a bad thing XD, Michelle and Claire are also very talented young VA's. Whoever wins ill be happy!

Had to resort to eeny meeny miney mo for most of these...especially the child actors. Came up with Michelle Creber for that one, but they were all very good.
said at 8:45 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Laura Bailey deserves to win purely for her excellent performance as Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!
said at 7:31 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Nolan North, easy.

But... Hale or Strong? Tabitha St. Germain would get my vote over either of them, however.
said at 6:24 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@Forderz I voted for Hale because Female Shepard deserves recognition, I'm sick of the sexist bullshit from MShep players in the fandom
said at 4:01 PM on Sun Mar 25 2012
@Forderz Hale for sure. I do hope that Tara gets a longer performance in the next Batman game.
said at 6:55 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Claire, Michelle, or Jeremy...
said at 6:26 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Sorry bronies, had to go with Finn for the best child actor. But I did vote for Tara Strong and Ashleigh Ball, because I genuinely think they deserved it.
said at 5:47 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Sorry Michelle but I had to go with Claire. You are both good so I had to decide by cuteness and I think Sweetie Bell is really cute.
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 6:06 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@smith0211 I agree, if I was choosing between Michelle and Clarie I would go with Claire as well!
said at 5:44 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Finn, Applebloom, Or Sweetie Belle? GAAAA! This is a difficult pick! They're all great child VA's, decisionsdecisionsdecisions...
said at 5:43 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Yeah, have to say: I couldn't, in good conscience, blindly vote all in favour of MLP. I love Strong, but to unseat Grey DeLisle? Madness. That entire section was ridiculously hard to pick through in general. Hale, DeLisle, Wahlgren, Bailey and (of course) Strong. I seriously love all their performances.

Also had to vote for Shada. Again, I quite love what Creber and Corlett add to the characters, and they're very pleasant, very talented people, but Shada absolutely nails his role as Finn.

Luckily, the male category was a bit easier to pick through. Not easy, mind, but a lot less hairpulling than a few of the others.

I still voted for Ashleigh, though. The girl has a serious set of pipes, and some amazing range.
said at 5:35 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I had to choose between Applejack and Arcee?!?

Sigh. Sorry AJ, I had to go for the bot.

Sorry bros but I had to vote for Shada.
said at 5:06 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I chose Adventure Time even though FIM is my favorite show
said at 4:57 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Okay, yeah. I'm a brony and I voted for pony actors. But I DID listen to some of the other nominees. Not all of them, I confess to that, but I did not just vote for ponies because ponies. I did listen to some other voices but in the end all of my votes went to pony anyway. So, NCZ and others who think we're ruining the fun... tough luck. I have my free will and I intend to use it.

...execpt for in the case de Lancie. Sorry, I voted for him just because he's Discord. There was no other option. Sue me.
NCZ (Admin)
said at 5:03 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Cizak If you legitimately think they were the best performances, that's fine. My problem is with people voting solely for the ponies and not giving these other great actors a chance.
OptimusSolo (Admin)
said at 5:06 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@Cizak I have never said it is ruining the fun at all. I am enjoying all of this immensely actually. What you guys don't realize is that WE were ultimately the ones who put the nominees together and through they were worthy of nominations. I personally, nominated both Creber and Corlett in the 'childrens' category so please just keep that in mind :)
said at 2:42 AM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@OptimusSolo: Maybe Madeline Peters will get nominated next year. I'll admit Scootaloo didn't speak as much as Apple Bloom or even Sweetie Belle in the episodes that have aired so far.
said at 4:09 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
I also tried to find good samples of the shows I did not know about. But it took too much time and effort. Supposedly some of the VAs have sample clips on this site, but I could not find any (starting to assume they are delivered as Adobe Flash code, and that's why I cant see them)

We need a good list of videos (to see how the acting fit the scene), in an easy to watch way.
NCZ (Admin)
said at 6:26 PM on Wed Mar 21 2012
@jfx Yes, you will need Flash in order to listen to the sound clips.
said at 9:11 PM on Wed Mar 28 2012
@Cizak First of all you ARE supposed to listen to all of the nominees BEFORE you cast your vote(s) in order for this to be a fair contest. All of these VAs gave stellar performances and the BTVA team worked so hard to put this whole contest together. It's ok if you really do like the MLP VAs the best, but try to give everyone a fair chance.
said at 4:56 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Frank Welker may do a great job as Garfield's voice (copying Lorenzo Music), but the animation quality (like lip-sync) on "The Garfield Show" could be a whole lot better.
said at 4:42 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Ignore the fake pony trollers. Real bronies WILL vote objectively. I May be unable to decide between Tara Strong(for Twilight of course) and Jennifer Hale(female Shepard) Both outstanding performances.
said at 4:39 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Yay, Michell Creber!

said at 4:03 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@DJ_PON3 Nothing to be sorry about as long as people are looking at things objectively and not just blindly voting for any and all things connected to MLP!
said at 9:05 PM on Wed Mar 28 2012
@OptimusSolo I think the MLP fans will inevitably dominate the polls... :'(
said at 3:28 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Honestly, I think Creber is the clear winner in her category. not only a good actor, but a good singer, too
said at 2:35 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I had to give the vote for Michelle Creber. She May voice Applebloom, but she Sings for AB and Sweetie Belle's parts, and my, my... She is a pro! The Hearts and Hooves day song... You realize she's singing against her self there! She lays 2 of the vocal track to that one song, and it was ADORABLE!!!

Add to all that, the fact that she has actively participated in the fan community, with livestreams, singing, and even collaborative works with other artists...

Plus Applebloom's voice is cute! :D

Michelle wins hooves down!

Kevin Michael Richardson! All the way!! He's mind blowing awsome!
said at 10:06 AM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Bill Farmer has always done the best Goofy next to the original, so I'm definitely voting for him! Too bad most of these nominees are in shows I don't watch and don't care for, I would have more opinions to post. :/
said at 6:57 AM on Tue Mar 20 2012
I love Michelle Creber but I just had to vote for Claire Corlett.

I love Applebloom but Sweetie Belle's voice is so much more memorable.
said at 12:57 PM on Tue Mar 20 2012
@bettybunhead But Michelle Creber dose the singing for both.. and her singing is mindblowig!
said at 5:04 AM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Michelle Creber, cuz shes just plain Awesome :D

I'll admit it, i votede mainly for the Cast of MLP,
they are extremly talentede all of them
said at 2:39 AM on Tue Mar 20 2012
Wow, I had a hell of a hard time choosing between Claire Corlett or Michelle Creber.

Ashleigh Ball does an amazing job as Applejack and Rainbow Dash.

For me, the Male Voice Actor of the year comes down to Corey Burton and Kevin Michael Richardson. They had some great and diverse roles in 2011.

For Female Voice Actor of the Year I know Tara Strong is going to be the popular choice but Grey DeLisle really deserves this one. Look at her roles from 2011!!!

For Breakthrough Voice Actor I have to give it to Alyson Stoner even though they all are deserving!

As for voices of established characters I am too impressed with Welker's Garfield to go with anyone else!
said at 12:02 PM on Sat Mar 17 2012
voted! Woot! Tough Choices though, as they are all amazing voice actors and actresses.

@TFG1Mike Awesome! Did you vote in all the different pages/categories?
said at 5:46 AM on Fri Mar 16 2012
For me, the Male VA of the year is easily Nolan North. His performances as Deadpool in U/MvC3 as well as in Arkham City have put me through almost endless fits of laughter.

The Breakthrough VA is too difficult for me. I though Alyson Stoner, Matthew Mercer and Sumalee Montano have all done brilliant performances. But my vote will be for Sumalee.
said at 8:37 PM on Fri Mar 16 2012
@Fulgore2005 There's a LOT more stellar performances he's done. Nathan Drake, Desmond Miles, Prince of Persia, Dr. Richtofen, Cyclops, Raphael...the list goes on and on.

@pokemastanumba1 Remember please that this is JUST for roles done in 2011!

@Fulgore2005: My favorite Nolan North roles this year all came from Portal 2 - Space Core, Fact Core, Rick the Adventure Sphere, and the Defective Turrets!
