Round 3 - Theme: Transformers

(Wheeljack and Autobot medic/inventor Ratchet are flying in Wheeljack's ship to find an important relic)
Monologue 1:
"Boss thought you needed backup huh? I'll be sure to be on my best behavior Doc. (Ratchet tells him not to call him 'Doc') Whatever you say sunshine. So, all of team Prime's busy chasing down these four Iacon relics? (Ratchet says there are more) There's more? No worries Doc, I got your back. (Ratchet says he proved himself in battle during the war) Then I'm lucky to have you along champ. Coz we got a bogey on our tail. Soundwave huh? Megatron's communications chief? (Wheeljack increases the ship's speed) You wanna grab onto something. (a small Decepticon is released to divert Wheeljack's attnetion) Soundwave sent out Laserbeak? I welcome a good distraction. (Wheeljack gets behind Laserbeak) The hunter becomes the hunted. (Wheeljack fires weapons) Choke on that, Con."

(Wheeljack tells the story of how why he's hunting a Decepticon named Dreadwing)
Monologue 2: (Choice)
"I was searching for Autobot survivors and found a fellow Wrecker, Seaspray, who was blown to bits. My flyer, the Jackhammer picked up Seaspray's signal a couple light years from Madern. We made contact, and arranged a rendevous in the Drommadon system. But Dreadwing must've intercepted the transmission. Coz he got to Seaspray first. Proximity bomb. Supposed to take us both out. Suppose I should be glad the Jackhammer can take a punch. I picked up Dreadwing's ion trail, and tracked it through a dozen solar systems before catchin' up with him."

(Wheeljack is on the hunt for Dreadwing, who has killed a former teammate and just landed on Earth)
Monologue 3: (Choice)
"Hope he's enjoying the visit. It's gonna be his last. (The Autobot leader, Optimus Prime suggests to hold back for now since they don't know where Dreadwing is) Are you suggesting we sit back and do nothing? (A human government official tells Optimus to pull rank on Wheeljack) A tighter leash? Let me clarify, tiny. I'm not one of Optimus Prime's people. (Wheeljack leaves and his friend Bulkhead follows, trying to convince him to listen to Optimus) Let me tell you Bulk. Roadbuster, Pyro, Impacter, Rotorstorm, Seaspray. All dust. Guys like Optimus, they talk a good game. But when you're in the scrap, they don't wanna get their hands dirty. (Bulkhead tries some more convincing) I know, I know. Because Prime is the real thing. Blah blah blah. (Wheeljack receives an invitation from Dreadwing) I'll see you there Con. Just to see you fry. (Bulkhead says it's a trap) I know it's a trap, but when has that ever stopped me. (Bulkhead suggests they call for backup) You know Wreckers don't call for backup. They call for CLEAN UP!"

(Attempts to give a motivational speech to his fellow Decepticons)
Monologue 1:
"Once the Decepticons nearly held the quadrant through terror. Now we scrap like slargs over a few energon cubes. Is this how you honour the memory of Galvatron? Is this the fate of the mighty Decepticon Empire? Give Decepticons, give until it hurts. We have nothing to fear, Unicron is dead, all that's left is his head. We have nothing to lose. Warriors such as you and I should meet their end in battle."

(Cyclonus and Scourge are discussing their alliance with Shockwave. They have come from 20 years in the future, where they kill Shockwave and take over as Decepticon leaders)
Monologue 2: (Choice)
"C'mon Scourge -- we owe him nothing! (Scourge observes they can't become future Decepticon leaders without Shockwave) Perhaps, but to think we must now serve Shockwave, the being that in the year 2008, we will kill to become joint commanders of the Decepticons! (Shockwave comes in with instructions for Cyclonus and Scourge) We answer to no one! Listen, you pompous, overbearing fool -- we don't have to take this from you! I mean, why should we serve someone we're going to kill and succeed in twenty years? (Shockwave, realizing what they've just said, sics a crazed Megatron on them) Scourge, it's Megatron! What--what's he doing here? (the two are separated during the ensuing brawl) H-help me, Scourge! I'm injured... Guh... Scourge, help me! Where are you!?"

(Cyclonus and Scourge have arranged to meet Galvatron in the middle of a human city. The two have arrived and are now waiting for him)
Monologue 3: (Choice)
"You sure this is the place, Scourge? (Scourge confirms it's the place) Why in the middle of a human settlement? Unless... unless he wanted to make sure we came alone. Face it, in the middle of this lot, you couldn't miss another Transformer! (Galvatron appears and calls Scourge and Cyclonus out for not following his orders exactly) As it happens. We don't wish to serve you. And they're Nebulans, not humans! We're Targetmasters now, Galvatron -- the Nebulans ARE our weapons! Now -- hand over the device!"

(Arcee goes along with her teenage human friend Jack on what's supposed to be a safe mission, until they discover a crashed alien spaceship)
Monologue 1:
"That's odd. Ratchet's satellite scans were accurate, but subterranean energon deposits don't cause this kind of surge. (They go to investigate) A crash landing. Stay behind me. Low and close. Wait here. (Jack follows anyway) I know who this ship belongs to. (Attempts to call base) Arcee to base, I need a ground bridge asap. Base, do you read? Scrap (like a cuss word). Comm links dead. This ship's gotta be transmitting a high frequency scrambler pulse. (Arcee drives Jack far away) Wait here. I mean it this time. (Jack responds with "I thought I was your partner") No Jack, you're a kid. You're only here because this was supposed to be no risk. Got it?!"

(Arcee visits the grave of her former partner Cliffjumper, who was killed by a Decepticon)
Monologue 2: (Choice)
"Hey partner, heck of a view you got up here. If there's even a small chance your spark is out there listening, well, we could really use you Cliff. Seems like everyday a new Decepticon arrives on the scene. We're outnumbered and outgunned. Yeah, I know what you'd say, "Sounds like a fair fight", and if that's the world we live in, so be it. I just want you to know, I haven't given up. I'm going to find the Con who took you from us."

(Arcee talks to an enemy prisoner Starscream about who killed her partner Cliffjumper)
Monologue 3: (Choice)
"Airachnid terminated my partner. (Starscream thinks that fellow Decepticon Airachnid was taking credit for killing this "partner" and claims the credit for himself) What? You weren't there. Who were you talking about? I'm talking about Tailgate. (She suddenly realizes that Starscream killed Cliffjumper) You were the one. You extinguished Cliffjumper. (In anger, Arcee prepares to avenge her partner in battle) Here's the key to your cuffs. Cliff would've given you a fighting chance. (Starscream pretends to cower) Take it! You're pathetic. (Starscream tricks Arcee and deals a near lethal blow) Aaaaahh! (Starscream starts monologuing and Arcee while weak, gathers what little strength she has left for a final attack) *quietly* Just keep talking Starscream. *getting louder* This ... is ... for ... Cliffjumper!"

(Tracks down a fellow Predacon named Tarantulas to find out what he has been up to)
Monologue 1:
"What ever are you up to? How very interesting. So, this is where you've been hiding. Cozy. In a hideous sort of way. (Tarantulas prepares to attack) Cool your gears, tall, dark and gruesome. I didn't spend all this time trying to find your lair just to shoot it out with you. We need to talk. (Tarantulas makes up a fake excuse why he's scheming behind the Predacon leader's back) I'd say you were engaged in stealing a status pod, and perhaps reprogramming the helpless Maximal protoform inside into a new Predacon, loyal to you of course."

(Both factions have discovered a flying island which possesses a powerful light emitting weapon that can cause major destruction. Blackarachnia schemes her way into gaining control of it all for herself)
Monologue 2: (Choice)
"Success. This flying island, and all it's power will soon be mine to control. Hahahahaha. It's mine. This island's weapons will give me the power to defeat even Megatron (leader of Predacons). I will destroy the Maximals and rule the Predacons. Now, for power! This must be the control center, but how do I ... (a beam of light surrounds her and she screams in pain) Aaaaaaah!!! (pain subsides) Yes. Yeees. I feel the power. I have the control. Let there be ... light (the light weapon fires attacking the nearby Transformers)"

(Arrives on scene to find the Maximal Silverbolt (who is a half wolf half eagle Transformer) protecting an important machine called a protoform. In the past Silverbolt has been known to be a gentleman and never attack Blackarachnia because she is female. Even though they are enemies, over time she has slowly grown to be fond of him)
Monologue 3: (Choice)
"The Predacons claim that protoform! (Silverbolt tells her it has malfunctioned) Pardon me if I don't buy that load bird dog. (She attacks) Come on! Fight back! How long will you carry this silly chivalry? Coz this dark damsel is not impressed! (Their fight takes them to a dark and unknown environment) I consider myself a creature of darkness, but this place is making even my skin crawl. (She falls down a chasm) Aaaaah. (Silverbolt flies in and saves her) Not too shabby Bowser (her nickname for him). But don't expect any gushing gratitude."
