I'll be honest, I joined this competition because of my enthusiasm towards voice acting, and I know I really have a long way to go :P ( first of all to get rid of my swedish accent...), cause I don't think anyone can pull out several voices from the very beginning, that takes hours til perfection :)
@Kyhlarn Don't lose your accent entirely please! You may regret it later. Though I'm bilingual, I struggle to recreate that accent my parents have. I can recreate an American's accent speaking Spanish but I have tough time voicing it the other way around. People pay good money for accurate accents. Work on your accent if you want but remember it in case someone wants to pay you for it. Record yourself speaking with the accent and keep it for reference because you never now when you'll need to recreate it in the voice over world.
@RozenStar "@VodkaHaze xD You were right lol!" This was suppose to be a reply to "@finalCrystine
NOT VodkaHaze
"Don´t worry, I think most people voted for themselves xD" I have dumb clumsy fingers.
If I were allowed to vote more than once, my votes would go to Hendercrazy and derekotsu! Hendercrazy, while not always a fitting cartoon voice is a REALLY fun voice to listen to. And derekotsu... just listen to his and you'll find out pretty quick.
gtnish>7 I noticed you submitted your Street fighter performance on the Callback page. would you mind submitting it on the Round 1 and submitting a different performance for the Callback page? thanks
I know I voted for Asia (Stix1800) but I also wanted to vote for Pokejedservo so badly! DX That voice reminded me of how one of my characters speaks in my drawings for my made up comic.
Ok, submitted one. When the word 'insane' comes to mind, there are a list of villains to choose from, but the one I chose was at the top of the list...
I know I'm only supposed to vote for one, but if I could vote for multiple people this would definately be the list (not including myself of course). One Born, VocAwe, Asia (Stix1800), TamaRanEd, derekotsu, and DarkSonic. Just to let you guys know I think you were great (no offense ment to those I didn't mention) and even if you don't get any votes or anything there's still at least one person who thought you were awsome!!! :D

@asmithhers Welcome to the club! For what it's worth, I think you had an outstanding audition. Don't want to divulge any private feedback I sent you, but if you ever need my help, just let me know.
Darn, I misunderstood how the BTS thing worked, I though there was no deadline until the end of the actual contest. Crud, I couldn't submit anything due to some computer issues, now it's too late.
@Foxwolf Well, upon moving the computer into a more spacious room in the house, I have discovered that even 3 feet from the microphone is STILL too close with the way my voice projects...
@Red524
It works fine for me, (I use chrome) though I do have problems when I use internet explorer and click on this page or the other callback performences. Something about Unable to add cookies, header already sent.
I can't get on both pages with internet explorer.
@Psyche's Rose hmm, the audio player should appear with the popup. can you confirm that you can listen to performances on the Auditions Results page? thanks
@finalCrystine It's a pretty difficult scene, especially if you're a girl. Most of us don't have experience with war, so it's hard to get that genuine feel to it. However, everyone's been sad at some point so it's easy. I wanted to do the drill sergeant one, but I could only do one and I had more confidence in the sad scene. :)
@TwoDoorCafeClub I did both but when it came to quality sound the sad one came out better.... But i thought the sergeant was better than the sad one... :/
@Psyche's Rose
Yeah I understand. I chose the drill sergeant on purpose because they said in my feedback my yelling line wasn't believable. I never yell that loud so this was a good opportunityv to practice for me xD
@finalCrystine
It's kind of akward. Especially if you have to do multiple retakes in a house full of people. Even if they know you're acting one of them still says "What's all the yelling about!"
@Psyche's Rose Well said! AYVOS3 judges, look out! With future finalists like us perfecting our skills, you're going to have your work cut out for you! ^o^
