Happy Birthday William Shatner!

The definition of a large ham actor, love him or hate him he's definitely one of the most iconic tv actors of all time thanks to roles such as Captain James T. Kirk on Star Trek and TJ Hooker.

Last year he did a lot of voice acting that really showed off his acting prowess. His guest appearance on My Little Pony of all things showed off not only his acting chops but even a surprising vocal range as Grand Pear surprising for an 80 year old man who can still sound youthful but also put on a pretty good old man voice too. He really nailed the emotions of bitterness and regret in that episode, easily being one of the best guest performances and performances in general in that episode. It'd be nice if he got to come back and do more episodes but I have a feeling Grand Pear is gonna be a silent cameo character from now on due to how expensive Shatner must be.

His performance as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in Batman vs. Two-Face is legitimately the perfect 60's Batman Two-Face we could've gotten. Heck I'd say it's one of the better voices Two-Face has had. I really like that snarling menacing sound that Shatner surprisingly got to do and use. The casting is perfect cause if Two-Face did appear in the 60's Batman show, he totally could've been played by William. Shame with Adam West passing away last year, we might not get more of Shatner's Two-Face voice but I'm glad we at least got this performance. It'd be nice if he used this voice again in the near future while we still have him. Also a great example of his vocal range.

I also enjoyed his performances as Mayor Phlegmming, Ozzie and William Shatner's Head.

Based on the trailer, his Two-Face sounds fairly credible.

Some talks of a guest spot in My Little Pony are being prepared between him and Jim Miller. Here's to hoping ;)

@CatsTuxedo He's a pretty big name. Maybe they're actually trying to land him a spot in the movie...?

@immblueversion Last I checked, the term "guest voice" is only used in the context of television series, and I get the feeling that the cast for the movie is already situated, while the writing for Season 6 is still in process, and the negotiations with Shatner aren't set to begin until next month.

Besides, John de Lancie, Weird Al and Lena Hall are pretty big names too, so by that logic, any of them could've been saved for the movie.
