 1 Shout Out!
While I not much of a fan of The Superfriends Era of Cartoons, Stanley Ralph Ross was Really Good as Gorilla Grodd and Brainiac.

I also remember his Doberman voice from 'Babe: Pig In The City' giving me Nightmares (I genuinely thought Babe was going to be Torn Apart).

Vintage performers are becoming pretty underrated nowadays, and Ross is no exception.

He wasn't just a great voice performer, but he was also a great writer and producer.

He may not have had the most ample vocal range, but he did have a great accent range and excellent acting ability.

My favorite role of his is Brainiac. And even though he only played him in four stories, it really left a big impact on me. His deep, raspy voice and his cold delivery will always remain in my head as the definitive Brainiac.

He was also a pretty cool Grodd, bringing the right amount of menace, beastly sound and intellect. He was also great as the sympathetic villain Quasimodo in the 1982 Hulk cartoon and he was a wonderful Perry White in the 1988 Superman cartoon. And he also played Snakebite, which was my favorite character in the Rambo cartoon.

He also was a writer on three of my favorite TV shows:

-He wrote some episodes of the 1966 Batman show.
-He wrote the pilot for the 1975 Wonder Woman show.
-He wrote an episode of G.I. Joe.

He was also a great role model for a lot of people (including me).

RIP Stanley Ross (1932-2000)

Your work shall never be forgotten.
