 1 Shout Out!
Happy Birthday, Ryusei Nakao! My god, I love his performances as Frieza and Mayuri Kurotsuchi. On top of that, he does a great job portraying Tambourine, Cooler, Frost, the Quiz Moderator, Vaccine Man, Master Crane and Tortoise, Cranky Kong, and Caesar Clown.

I don't know how recent that picture of Nakao is but he looks great for someone in his 60's.

I figured it out; Rob Paulsen and Ryusei Nakao both voiced Jose Carioca AND Yakko Warner!

@BlankSlate So basically, Ryusei is the Japanese Rob Paulsen.

@Jared Delgado I think he's more comparable to Charlie Adler, really.

@CatsTuxedo Funny, I've actually been thinking about Charlie Adler as Frieza.

@CatsTuxedo Or Chris Latta. Or, possibly, Keith Ferguson & Steve Blum.

@Jared Delgado I think a Japanese Rob Paulsen would be more along the lines of say Kappei Yamaguchi or Kozo Shioya. Great animal & "silly", often younger voices. I think the latter especially is a close comparison, moreso to Richard Horvitz but that's the closest I could think of to Rob.

I think Tom Kenny or James Arnold Taylor could be compared to Yamaguchi actually. I could easily see Tom or JAT as Usopp, Bugs Bunny, Crash Bandicoot, Michelangelo, L, Inuyasha, Ranma, or Teddie from Persona.

@Jared Delgado & well, evidently Yamaguchi dubbed two Tom Kenny roles in Transformers ANimated - Jetfire & Rattletrap. & he also dubbed Michaelangelo voiced by Mikey Kelly, whom JAT replaced Ratchet. Small world eh?

So he's Yakko Warner, Mayuri, Darkwing Duck, Bartok, Batty Koda, Jose Carioca and Freeza?!

This guy has impressive range for cartoon characters, but he's always best with villains. He's like the Vincent Price of Japanese voice acting!

I don't even like the Japanese version but I still think he is the best Frieza

Wow. How can one go from Frieza and Mayuri Kurotsuchi, to Jon Arbuckle and Buster Bunny?

@NCZ He has amazing range considering how his voice is so distinctive.
